I like these kinds of tier lists because it shows how there isn’t a “bad” operator when in the right hands, there are just more useful and better operators
Ying is so ridiculous that warden is picked in pro league specifically to counter her. I regularly play ying in high ranks and candela entries are the most consistent source of kills ive ever seen
I would argue Buck is borderline broken every round. Arguably one of the most versatile operators with hard breach, soft breach, gone 6, and shotgun. Deserves to be above ash, sledge, and ram as he can do their role and more.
Most picked op in the SI, but he was almost never banned. I don't think he needs a nerf though, so he's in the perfect spot. He's not broken, but he's not just okay either. He's the best op in the game, but not the most oppressive
Rarely do i see a tier list and agree(or at least i understand) every single placement. Your tierlist is one of those rare exceptions. Great video!

Granted the season isnt out yet but Lion was BY FAR the strongest attacker on release with universal full outline information. Drone someone/jackal and then lion scan and they were dead instantly through a wall. Deimos having information that only he has means team play is much more important to play him optimally as well as revealing his own location and on release he is countered by vigil unlike Lion whose only counter was mute. Deimos is going to be strong for sure but lion was outrageous at every level of play

I don't usually mind tier lists at all, because most of the time they are usually own opinion takes without any further explanations, but this tier is pretty dope and very well made. You explain your thoughts about it, you also don't say that situational operators are bad, they are just less played because they are more niche, which is very true. Your okay category more symbolizing operators, which need a buff is also a nice thing to see, you can easily follow it and you know, which characters are like bad, but still playable in good hands or under good circumstances. I just hope, that they won't listen to players, which are saying that Deimos is so OP and nerf him into a ground. The biggest balance problem I see with Deimos is, that you actually cannot or it is for better to not nerf his revolver, because it is like 99% of his gameplay basically. Maybe you can go for ability nerf (less duration, stuff like that) or for gadget nerfs (granades are nice bonus, but without them he can still work), but for fucking gosh sake, I hope they won't nerf his Vendetta at all cost, because I feel like every small nerf of that weapon can make him very fast into ''okay'' section. Anyway nice video and definitely continue in it, subscribe.

Easily the best tier ranking video I’ve ever seen anyone do. I love how you categorized the tiers based on who could use a nerf, buff, or is about right. Would be fun next time to see you maybe create little sub tiers within the good every round, situational and okay tiers to rank all those operators since the bulk fall into those 3 categories.

Good thing you put Grim in A tier. Lot of casuals belittle him but he is a top 3 banned attackers in SI.
As a flank watch main, I mainly play gridlock to watch flanks while playing slower with my team. When I’m on nomad I tend to play more of a frag role and mostly use my airjabs for aggressive plays. You can’t depend on nomads airjabs to watch flank every round

Ehhhhhh, I agreed/understand most of the list, but I think Finka was a huge miss. Maybe she’s not good in a solo queue, but in an organized push with a universal ability, she’s solid. AND she just got buffed to be able to relieve the new suppression on shield operators. Finka and Blitz will be a huge 1-2 combo
My take: removing 1.5 won’t change the tdm meta it’ll just make it worse because people can spawnpeek in 4K now the only way to get rid of the tdm meta is by buffing all utility because think about why does anyone use thorn? Because of the uzi most people don’t even use the traps why? Because they fuxking suck buff utility and the tdm meta should be better

As a person who left Siege for more than 2 years, I still can't believe that Warden from one of the most useless operators in the game became one of the most played ones just because of the addition of 1.5 scope for his MPX. That just seems insane to me.
What does tdm mean in the context of this video and comment? I thought tdm typically stood for team death match but I haven’t been playing siege for long

They are making it so it takes longer to zoom in but spawn peaks are still annoying

My favourite attackers are mira,jäger and pulse it’s a good thing you ranked them in the thumbnail cause people always forget they are attacker

Pro’s even say running Thermite is smarter. Ace is just a fragger that conveniently has hard breach utility. He’s worse at doing both Hibana and Thermite’s jobs since he can’t even efficiently get hatch open, nor can he get the wall open without making either a crouch or vault sized hole. He’s not a bad opp, but in a game like this Thermite has and always will be better at that job. Get that azz on Call of Duty

Maverick isn’t a hard breacher and he would be in good every round. He is more a silent breacher than a hard breacher but he could do both which would put him higher.
I like the list but I do disagree with your opinion on kali and wall denial. She’s perfect for it. You said the issue was that her lance destroys the hard breaches, but why would you ever put the breach first instead of shooting the lance first? If it’s electrified that’s not even an option. If only tubarao is present then your point is semi decent, but in most cases it’s not too difficult to coordinate some sorta flank or cross pressure to mitigate that. By my logic kali is only useful in a team and useless solo, but we are talking wall denial, and if ur playing kali for wall denial then ur probably playing with at least 1-2 other people

IQ is basically *only* good against valk. Theres never really any other reason to take her over a twitch for example

I think they need to make twitch drones two shot and undetectable by solis. She gets hard countered by mute, but atleast making her drones better will make her more viable.

grid and nomad arent best used for a flank watch there best used to deny an area to be retaken and to restrict movement, so think villa you airjab 90 from bar side so the defender cant freely walk back up the hallway to retake, same with grid for an actual flank it should be held with a gun or a drone or a lurker sitting below which is why Zero is the only flank watch because he has supper easy to hide cams to watch the flanks or do the same thing as nomad and grid just need an active watch, plus again think villa if you have a dedicated fw zero is better to watch astro stairs, compared to an airjab which you might not hear, or trax which a defender can straight up walk through and 90% of the time they dont make the taking damage sound LOUD enough
also demios isnt broken hes shit, you get pinged back, only revolver and nobody else sees the pings but you and that defender (so yes forced team play but even in PL, just run lion or dokk your guaranteed more use)
