telugu people should not visit hampi , it was because of telugu people hampi was destroyed . 85% inscriptions are in kannada in hampi no telugu inscriptions . krishna devaraya conquered andra region from orisa king , he appeased telugu speaking to control the vast land , he encouraged telugu literature appointed telugu people in adminstration , gave his daughter to aliya ramaraya .. after krishnadevaraya death aliya ramaraya with help of telugu administrative officers throw sadashivaraya krishnadevaraya brothers son and took throne same like chandra babu naidu using ntr name and fame, famous saying in kannada " aliya mane toliya " came to existence bcz of aliya ramaraya , .this gave chance for small but very storng kannada provinces to declare there independence .. just imagine kannada region is ruled great empires like kadamba , ganga hoysala chalukya , rashtrakutas kannadigas are warrior clan they didnt accept aliya ramaraya as there king ,, and aliya ramaya was easy target for bijapur sultan within 1 year without blood shed talikota war ended aliya ramaraya was killed , hampi wealth was plundered by administrative officers and fled to different part escaped to pennukonda . from pennukonda aliyaramaraya successor aravidu dynasty started so telugu part in vijayanagara empire comes here .. aliya ramaraya kicked out rajaguru of krishnadevaraya vyasa teerta , and kannada scholars purandara daasa , kanakadasa and replaced telugu scholars . purandara daasa and vyasa teerta in there keertanas they clearly mentioned about aliya ramaraya foolish behaviour about including his relatives and tleugu people in adminstrative posts... so telgu part starts from aliya ramaraya .. hampi has no connection for telugu .. actualy bcz of telugu people kannada 3000 year glorious history was severly damaged .. and many purandara daasa and kanaka daasa keertanas was translated to telugu poets mainly annamacharya good example is narayanate namo namo no doubt telugu film industry is best in dubbing and remake of movies .. but historians after independence write history which unify india not breaking india .. no where in history it is mentioned as vijayanagara empire its only after independence this empire is named as vijayanagara empire ,, its real name was " karnata samrajya " this name is recored by various foriegn travelrs nicolo konti also mentioned it as ' karnata samrajya ' arabian and persian travelers also call it karnata samrajya and vijayanagara was its capital city . this is true history . so telugu people should feel shame to visit hampi
