Smackdown has a tendency to be good every 2 years.
Not really it wasn't good in 2014
2008 was SmackDown’s best year

Jason Jordon being Kurt Angle's "son' almost made me stop watching, I remember how painful that crap was to watch
I literally stopped watching wrestling since then.... Now, I just keep track of stuff, I don't watch
@@MaharshiGanguly yup I just keep up and watch compilations
That was so weird. I instantly knew it was fake. I just thought they tried it to make Jason shine.

The worst time
I thought it was pretty great to see the fiend helping out young talent like goldberg
@Hunter Carvalho FINALLY SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS
@Hunter Carvalho yep, I loved goldberg winning too, glad you share the same opinion
But lets face it, when you’re a hardcore fan, you’ll watch no matter what. Even if you tweet “I’m canceling my network subscription” guess what, you’re still watching!

Despite Romans overall push in 2015 I still loved that year because of Seth Rollins
2015 was the year of Rollins.
I wanted to stop with the whole Constable Corbin storyline. That was garbage
U right
@A P facts they cringe as hell in some of their segments
I liked the
baron Corbin storyline
I want to stop the Alexa Bliss and Fiend vs Randy Orton storyline. It’s so bad
i stopped after cena's open challenges 😖 & only watched rumbles, WMs and summerslams after that - came back to it in 2019.
edit: i stopped AFTER cena's open challenges ended because of other storylines at the time. his open challenges were great.
Same
Cena did open challenges to introduce new young talents
U didn't like Cena's open challenges??
Thats a wack reason to stop watching. Cena did that to introduce young talent.
Those open challenges made his run as the us champ special 🤷🏾♂️ but aye that's yo opinion bruh
When Goldberg beat The Fiend was one of those times where I actually stopped watching for a few weeks, same with that shit in 2018 on RAW, first half of the year was actually good with the Dolph vs Seth IC Title Rivalry but then they went and did a bunch of dumb shit and it was just so boring I couldn’t watch.
same with me when Goldberg beat Kevin Owens
I stopped watching when Goldberg beat Brock Lesnar that seriously fucked Lesnar career in one minute and twenty six seconds 😔💔
I didn't for a bit when 2018 was just a bit boring

The golden era 1985 - 1993 was good
The new generation 1993 - 1997 was decent
The attitude era 1998 - 2002 was Awesome
The ruthless aggression era 2002 - 2008 was fantastic
The PG era or universe era 2008 - 2013 was Ok until everything got worse after 2013
The reality Era 2014 - 2016 was bad
The present era 2017 - Now boring as hell
smackdown 2020 is decent
Totally agree 100%
True that
Wait till Jośe Jamison tries to come after us again lmao
Ruthless aggression and the attitude era was the golden era for WWE
The wild card rule was awful definitely a point where I almost stopped
Jesus loves you
How dare you disrespect Seth with the authority!
😅
That iconic "ahahaha" rollins laugh was gold
Had to be after Mania 26. After Shawn left, I felt as if an era was dying as Taker, HHH, Batista, Edge began appearing less and less until they were no longer full time.
Now they are no longer Here, and are sadly missed, WWE is not what it used to be
'That was the worst time to be a wrestling fan'

i stopped watching from 2018 to the 3rd month of 2020, i was introduced to the indies, then wrestling was at the best for me, NJPW - AEW - ROH - PWG - GCW - OTT really made me love wrestling again
I wanted to stop watching wrestling a couple of times (I did stop watching WWE in like 2014 but came back in 2016)
-When Dean Ambrose left the WWE: Dean Ambrose was always my favorite Shield member and still is to this day and watching him leave was very sad and I lost interest.
-When CM Punk left the WWE: I was always a fan of Punk and always loved listening to his promos. His promos are like music to my ears. I miss Punk man!
-When Edge left the WWE: I was very young and Edge was one of my favorite wrestlers, he still is but at the time when he retired, I really couldn't watch wrestling anymore! I took a short break.
-When Nia Jax joined the WWE: Yeah! The day I saw Nia Jax was the day I almost gave up on watching wrestling!
2008 I star watching at 1 yr of age
2012 I stooped
2013 I returned
2018 I stopped
2020 I returned but watch the 2008 - 2014 WWE
I've watched every episode of Raw & Smackdown for almost 16 years straight. I never thought I would stop watching.
Now I only watch PPVs, and even those are bad. It's not even bad for a wrestling show - it's just bad. These shows have simply lost their soul. And I sat through the Reign of Terror with HHH, I sat through Cena's '08 reign - I watched every single one of those episodes. But in 2020, wrestling isn't exciting anymore. It's a chore that consists of tired and uninspired feuds. I am severely disappointed in WWE. Writing this comment actually hurts, but I simply can't have my intelligence insulted and my time wasted every week.
UFC feuds have more of an edge than WWE feuds. Yet, WWE feuds are purposely written to be exciting and edgy. Everything feels recycled. Wrestler A and Wrestler B are just placed in a ring and told to fight. No emotion, no personality... It seriously is depressing to think about. Wow.
This is the first time I actually stopped watching WWE, I know what's happening in it now (the storylines etc) but I don't watch the shows anymore. Sad....
Same
Im thinking of stop watching Raw, I cant watch the show anymore without feeling tired. I havent watched Smackdown but i know it's good right now.

TheGreatOne before: Roman is trash
TheGreatOne Now: Loves Roman
Me: He finally likes my favourite wrestler
Everyone never liked babyface Roman but now they like badass Roman
Fickle just like every wrestling fan... Me included
Roman is best
“Sorry Vince, hows Linda?” Hahaha
The only time I almost quit watching WWE was when last year when Brock Lesnar won the Money In The Bank contract and it's also because most times on a PPV Brock never defends the championship.
argee and I am still mad about they screwed ever single superstar in that match even Barron corbin
@@shirleygreen9648 I actually thought that was a funny fail 😭🤣😂
Just like edge if he wins it... But all yoy fans are licking his nuts
@@when4381 seriously?
I actually stopped watching WWE in 2017 and I only started watching again like 4 months ago
For me, I never wanted to stop warching wrestling but there was once a time when I was SOOOOO DONE with it that I actually stopped watching wrestling for MONTHS! Just once though. And ofcourse the spirit of WWE brought me back. It was in 2019 right after WrestleMania 35, and didn't watch a single full show until Raw Reunion in like September or somthing. It was because I was just not interested anymore and was more interested in watching cricket at the time but yeah I came back for The Fiend....... they ruined it though. But now I like The Fiend again. So I guess it ok.
Wild Card Rule was probably one of if not my lowest points. It made neither brand feel special at all.
Honestly since 2007ish I've watched wwe religiously but there was a period during the pandemic era where i totally lost my passion. WWE's product wasn't great but i was going through burnout with a lot of things. Cody Rhodes really brought me back.
When cm punk beat Jeff Hardy in a cage match and he had to leave wwe, as well as when Edge retired my all time two favorite wrestlers since 2006 now they’re both back:))
I have been watching wrestling for 7 years and I am a very casual fan,I even stopped watching wrestling during 2018-19.i only used to watch royal rumbles and WrestleMania and I was disappointed,I liked 2015 for Seth Rollins heel run and I also loved Dean Ambrose at that time, when he was feuding with Seth Rollins.now I have started watching it again.
This videos takes me back to 2017. U used to make these types of videos back then
I almost stopped watching entirely when Corbin, lashely, and drew had a faction. Plus the last show I watched in 2018 was the smackdown 1000 show. But after the draft in 2019. I started watching again
Lmao I just been watching the tops 10s they drop on RUclips, ever since like 2015
I remember finding out that Brock won MITB. I think that was the moment which almost made me stop watching WWE. But I won't lie, boom box Brock was pretty entertaining.
i stopped watching wwe live late 2017. ive just been watching the highlights ever since.
For me i stopped in the 2 half of 2019 it was horrendous smackdown and raw as bad i still remember the becky vs kabuki warriors rivalry and makes me cried and i start watching all over again in royal rumble 2020 and guess what that was the perfect time
This kid has gone mad, 2015 was a great year remember Owens and Cena classics, Seth and Cena were giving 4.5 star matches 👌👌, US open challenge. Seth Rollins's championship reign was awesome , Brock and Taker had an amazing fued, Roman and Dean vs the Wyatt Family was a very underrated rivalry where we saw the debut of Strowman. I think it was a great year , far better than 2018 and 19 crap.

The golden era 1985 - 1993 Was a start of something great
The new generation 1993 - 1997 Gave us new stuff but was too weird and decline
The attitude era 1998 - 2002 Awesome entertaing fun tons of fan
The ruthless aggression era 2002 - 2008 Great fun and every type of people from every company started to join
The PG era or universe era 2008 - 2013 Decent to watch but only sometimes
The reality Era 2014 - 2018 Manageable to watch but not really
The present era 2019 2020+ on the side of being bad but might get better
AE 1997-2001 or 2002 an Golden Era 1984-1993 An the Reality is PG Imo!
Ruthless Agression era was boring and forgettable , the only reason its liked is the name and that the internet have many people who watched RA as kids , there is no substance in RA undercard or midcard
The only good year in the reality era was 2016 and maybe 2014 and 15
When CM Punk left wwe, I was absolutely heartbroken. That Punk vs Cena MITB sagment, made me passionate about WWE again. But when Punk left in 2014, I actually stopped for a while, but always came back for Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.
Golden Era 1984-1993 Was Good An a Great Start
New Generation 1993-1997 was very weird an not all that but the last 2 years were good
Attitude Era 1997-2002 Was iconic an fun Great Storylines an Rivalries
Ruthless Aggression 2002-2008 Great Wrestling My favorite Era Good Storylines In I started watching Wrestling in This Era
PG Era 2008-2016 It was not as bad as people made it This Era was Decent
New Era 2016-Present Not Good at All It had a little bit of Ups but the bad out weight it's
Fuck The Reality Era it's still the PG Era Imo an I started watching wrestling in 2005
Ya wanna hug?
Unrelated to the video. I love these kinds of videos from the Great One, I don't know why, why not
I’ve literally lost 50% interest after the recent draft
The times I wanted to stop watching wwe (Not in order):
1. When Edge retired
2. Sting losing to HHH
3. When Brock was champion for who knows how long
4. Otis winning the MIB
5. Undertaker losing the streak
6. Oh most of all WM 34
7. The Saudi Arabia ppvs
8. Punk getting screwed over
9. Dean getting screwed over
10. WM 35
11. The storyline between Rey’s daughter and Murphy
But youll never stop watching lol even if otis becomes universal champion
KHESI FX I have stopped watching before and yes I will if that happens
@@Sergio-wm5du lol yeah right
There's been multiple times where I got pissed at WWE but for me never to the point where I wanted to stop watching 🤷♂️ I do take breaks from RAW but that's only because of the 3 hour format...
I stopped watching between 2014-2016 but Roman got me back into it in 2016 and I’ve watched every raw and Smackdown since. I’ve gotten to the point no matter how bad the shows get I’m gonna continue watching for the rest of my life
Any parts where the storyline got racist (Mahal vs Nakamura, Booker vs HHH, etc) I almost stopped watching.
I stopped in 2018 then i remembered the elite were gonna do ALL IN in september 2018 but forgot about it when it happend and watched it in Janurary when AEW was announced and they brought me back
Been watching since 2008. My 4 times would be Fastlane 2017, (especially the main event), Battleground 2017 (especially the main event), Brock winning MITB, and Rollins vs Fiend at HIAC.
Whaaaa? Personally I think 2017 was the best year

I stop watching WWE in 2018 when Charlotte won the Smackdown Women’s Champion from Carmella and in 2019 Hell in a Cell match with Seth Rollins and The Fiend
The day I first saw Nia Jax was the day I wanted to stop watching wrestling!
Honestly, I stopped watching WWE in 2017 when Roman beat Taker at ‘mania. Taker was my favorite wrestler and Roman didn’t need to win. I didn’t even consider watching wrestling again until CM Punk returned in late 2021
TBH I hated Goldberg coming back, that was so annoying he literally took away opportunities for rising stars and main card talent
And then just left again like lmao wtf
Who cares, they can’t even do shit for one week, it’s embarrassing to watch an old man literally perform way better then them.
One of the only times I remember I stopped watching wrestling was in 2019 not cause it was bad but I just kinda grew out of it almost
It seems like the wwe is just having a rough time trying to make both raw and smack down good whenever raw is good smack down is bad whenever smack down is good raw is bad their drafts are horrible right now
1. Goldberg defeats The Fiend.
2. Black Wednesday (where WWE released a bunch of superstars during a pandemic, clearly shows that they give absolutely zero cares for anyone but themselves).
3. Lana and Lashley cuckold storyline.
I stopped watching wrestling after wrestlemania 33 for a year and a half, I couldn’t believe they screwed KO vs Jericho and how they replaced them with fucking Goldberg
Didn't really watch your channel until last year but I remembered when I stopped watching wrestling after 2015 basically after Wrestlemania 31 because I didn't fine WWE appealing anymore but came back when the Pandemic happened and fell in love with it so I missed the horrible stuff.
I stopped when Kofi lost in 9 seconds.
But you’re right I came back because Jey vs Roman was awesome
Kofi losing the title like that was the worst thing they did, I'm honestly glad I never outright watched that becuase I'd probably have thrown a brick at my TV
What im doing right now is just watching aew until we get crowds back and i will watch both again. But aew is doing PHENOMENAL right now. You all know what i mean if you watched last night.
Also times i wanted to stop watching
1:raw in 2020 (before the draft)
2:hiac 2019
3:the overpushing of roman in 2015
4:the streak ending
5:2018 raw in general

I think most of us just grow up, I watched WWE when I was in elementary school, but when i got into my pre-teen years, it just wore off me.
I started watchin wrestling/wwf/wwe in 1998 and I stopped watchin in 08-09 and started to watch tna impact cause of aj styles no one heel turn and njpw in 2013. 2018 I started watchin wwe ppvs again but couldn’t and still can’t watch raw and smackdown and Aew all in on sept 1st 2018 made me full in love wrestling all over again! 2019 for me, just wrestling in general was one of the best years and really got me back into wrestling
I stopped watching WWE in 2013, I now periodically keep up to date with results hrough channels like yours and WhatCulture

A moment when i wanted to stop watching WWE was when the Riott Squad broke up/Ronda Rousey left/Sasha Banks had a hiatus in 2019
I loved WWE as a kid, I only stopped watching because we moved and I didn’t know where to watch it so I kinda just stopped, came back to it on the lowkey though, I watch here and there when I can.
2015 was the worst year for wrestling
I started watching in 2015 lol 😂😂😂
When sheamus won the mitb i stopped watching wwe for a couple months and when brock fueded with samoa joe and when he fueded with kane and strowman and that stupid 2018 raw shit i only watched smackdown and not raw at that time
When AEW came out is when I stopped watching WWE
Now, AEW Sucks
I have watched since 1978. Like you in the last 8 years it has been painful to watch. I did stop a few times as well.
I can honestly say I’ve never legitimately even considered stopping watching wrestling. In fact I haven’t missed a show for any reason I can control since I’ve started watching it. Wrestling is my everything so even the thought of stopping to watch it just makes me sad. I’m not going to pretend it’s even remotely perfect because it’s far from it but it’s like everything else, it’s highs are high and it’s lows are low. If cried both happy and sad tears, I’ve been incredibly angry, I’ve been overwhelmingly happy. To me wrestling isn’t a show like anything else. Its not disposable, it’s this group of people who will do anything for what they love. That got quite deep but that’s what happens I guess when you’re truly passionate about something. 😂
I completely stopped watching after 2012, I’m just going back and enjoying some of the old stuff nowadays
Bro same with me i just go back and watch some old stuff rather than keeping up with the new stuff
I quit in 2012 and 2014 but came back in 2016 when AJ went to WWE I always played the games
i remember watching Broadus Clay and Tensei dancing around for like 5mins and then the next segment was Alberto Del Rio promo and i dipped out for a few years
You uploaded this at the perfect time..thanks dude! Your content is always interesting to watch and I am waiting for your Smackdown review soon!
My problem with the Corbin, Lashley, MacIntyre's stable was that I saw the potential of Drew but couldn't get behind him. He was my favourite since returning
loving these type of videos
For me it was at the very beginning of the PG era. And I haven't really gone back but the Bray Wyatt/The Fiend storyline caught my attention. It's the most unique storyline in a long time. If anything, that storyline made me go back and watch attitude era clips and WCW 😂
When Vladimir didn't break the streak
Also when primo lost to Daniel Bryan
2020 WWE just makes 2015 WWE look good
I rage quit for a bit after the whole Enzo vs Neville Cruiserweight match happened.
The fact Neville was like working his butt off to keep that division alive and it was working then, OOP NOPE LETS HAVE HIM LOSE BY LOW BLOW AND STUFF AND FORGET ABOUT ALL HIS HARD WORK.
I actually did stop watching once mahal won the wwe championship in 2017. I stopped watching up until the fiend which brought me back into the product in late 2019.
Jinder mahal went from being a jobber to wwe champion in a week, one of the worst things wwe ever did was put the belt on him, plus his matches were all the same, he hit two or three moves over and over, singh brothers interfere, guy he is facing loses
I agree 2011 and 2012 were extremely underrated years in WWE I also think 2009 was extremely underrated, 2016 has got to be my favorite WWE Year of All Time both Raw and SmackDown (later SmackDown Live). I liked 2015 barring Roman Reigns segments and matches until Del Rio Returned and Rollins Got Injured. Mostly the little amount of time Daniel Bryan was wrestling that year, 2015 is DEFINITELY the BEST Year for The US Title, It Was NEVER More Prestigious than When Cena Held it That Year.
