Great video! It’s so easy to put off the little things when we overestimate the time it will take to do them. And thank you for the recipe. I’m going to try it this week!
Hi Robin! Every week, now, I’m looking forward to Sunday morning to see your new video. As the week-end approaches, I think of it more and more! It’s always a joy to see you, and to listen and see what you have prepared for us, that is always inspiring, interesting and informative! 😯💜 For me, one of the 5 minute tasks I tend to procrastinate about is folding laundry. I have a basket in which I put the clean items of clothing like underwear, socks, towels, etc., and sometimes, this basket can stay there for a while until we run out of underwear and have to dig in to find clean ones! 🙃 But I started recently the cleaning routines of the Fly Lady System, and this helps me stay on top of things… well, sort of… 😕 Austin is so cute and playful! Thanks for including him in your video! That spaghetti recipe sure looks yummy and I will try it! Have a great week! May God bless you and your family abundantly! See you next Sunday! 💙💜✨🙏
Thank you Monique! I’m so happy to be a part of your Sunday! I think folding laundry is like that for many of us. 🙈😂 The Fly Lady system is great. I have modified it over the years into a version that works for me. Having a routine is key! 👍😊💗
@@FaithandFlour Yes, having a routine is key, I agree! That's what I'm discovering in implementing the Fly Lady system. I also love very much your cleaning routine videos, and they have helped me a lot, too! I follow most of what you suggest in these videos, trying to make it my own. I find that by adding the morning and evening routine systems of the Fly Lady, I can be a little bit more organized. With your advices and those of the Fly Lady, I'm gradually transforming my old way of doing things, and beginning to enjoy more all things relating to homemaking! I'm so grateful! Thank you! 👍💜
Hi Robin. Happy Sunday. I’ve got that same hoover from Shark, have to say tho, your filters were spotless! Mine are so dusty when I wash my filters once a month. The water is a deep grey! 😳
Great video! A few of my 5 min tasks are - lint rolling lampshades - oiling wooden spoons and cutting boards - taking a damp microfibre cloth to the window screens in a specific room
In 5 minutes, I dust my lampshades with a lint roller. I also take down one ceiling light cover and wash it which saves doing them all during a seasonal deep clean.
As always, an aspiring video! I’ve had company this weekend so I’ll be watching this again tomorrow morning to get me going. One thing I like to do is wet paper towels and add lemon essential oil and put in the microwave for a couple of minutes while unloading the dishwasher. Then I wipe out the microwave with the paper towels. Two tasks done in 10 minutes. I’ll also quick clean the half bath in 5 minutes. Fill/replace the soaps in the bathrooms. Run out to car and bring in accumulated junk and bring a wipe to clean the junk tray I emptied. I find if I make a list of stuff to do, I can look for a quick task.
I’m so glad I saw your video. I have the same toaster oven, and I forgot that the bottom opened. It has been a pain to get all the crumbs out. That thing is getting a nice clean-out today. 😁
Love your video! I’m just curious: Do you keep a written record of when you cleaned out your vacuum and/or de-scaled the kettle so you know when it’s time to clean it again, or do you just eyeball it? Thank you for another relaxing and encouraging video!
Very motivational! I’m one of those people who thinks a task will take longer than it actually does, so it doesn’t get done. Also loved the recipe (we’re a gluten-free family, too). Have a lovely week, Robin! 🌷
You have inspired me to start some of those quick tasks which I put off doing. Number 1 is cleaning my vacuum, yours looks so good!! Tidy the inside of the car is another on my list. Thanks for a great video 😁
I overused my hands from cleaning and I can’t use my thumbs I’m gonna see my doctors but it’s so painful I never thought I could get an overuse injury it’s very spooky I’m 58 almost 59 good luck watch out
Clean out the micro, fold laundry 🧺, sweep or vacuum kitchen floor would be things I procrastinate for no reason. It’s takes so little time but make a huge difference 😅
Thanks so much for this video, I’ve been wondering what was a safe way to clean my electric kettle for a while and will give your method a go. I always look forward to spending a little time with you each week, i find your videos relaxing but also they encourage me to get caught up and i like that you use simple household ingredients in your cleaning. Thanks again from South Australia, regards Connie 🥰
Hello Robin. I totaly agree with you, some tasks can be done much faster than you imagined. If you see how quickly it is done, you know better for the next time. 👍 The pasta recipe looks so yummy. I completely understand it's a family favorite.😋 Thanx for this relaxing video.🎈 Have a wonderful week and many greetings from germany. Andrea 🌈
Thank you very much for the great tips and delicious recipe. I appreciate spending time with you, because we all need reminders to keep it simple, five minutes at a time. We can do anything 😀.
We used to have pasta parties before track meets when I was a runner, and this recipe was called "Spaghetti Pie" by my coach. His wife would make it in a pie dish, but same recipe. Also, we have chickens, so washing eggs is one of my 5 minute tasks. Great motivation as always, Robin. Happy Sunday!
That’s great Natassia! I think this would definitely be a hit with teens. It must be wonderful to have fresh eggs from your chickens. I would be eating egg salad more often! 👍😄💗
Interesting that you wash eggs. I've read that's it a rule of sale in USA. which is completely different to here in UK where it is illegal to wash eggs before selling them. There is evidence that washing removes the protective 'bloom' and can allow bacteria or even the cleaning agent ,if used, to get through to the egg itself . Bedding cleanliness is closely monitored.Domestically we don't wash our home produced eggs either.
Hello Robin, thanks for the video. I will definitely try the baked spaghetti tonight. I want to tell you a funny story that involves you! A while back I saw that you were using a scrub that you clean your kitchen sink with; bicarbonate of soda and some essential oil. I made some up and have been using it regularly, (I even said to myself the first time I used it, "Robin you should see my sink now!" 😀). It worked so well! Anyway, my 16 year old son came to me the other day and said, "what is that white stuff in the cupboard? It tastes terrible!" He thought it was powdered sugar. We laughed together when I explained what it was. I should have labelled it. Anyway I told him about you and your cleaning vlogs and said that I definitely have to tell Robin about this one! 😂 hope this makes you chuckle. I would have thought that the very strong lavender scent would have tipped him off that it is not sugar....🤣
Great video as always, Robin! I clean my vacuum once in a while but not on a regular basis and your video prompted me to put it on the calendar as a regular monthly task. I made your pumpkin cobbler this week and my family loved it. It was wonderful with vanilla ice cream. My mother also served tuna salad or egg salad in lettuce cups (or sometimes in a scooped-out tomato or avocado). I have one of her cookbooks from the '50s that is all about "ladies luncheons". Lots of ideas like the lettuce cups. Takes a simple, inexpensive meal like egg salad and elevates it to something special.
Thank you Elise! I love adding these tasks to your calendar. I’m so glad you liked the pumpkin crisp and that recipe book sounds like a lot of fun. We can learn a lot from our mothers and grandmothers! 👍😊💗
Happy Sunday Robin. Another great video. I am amazed at what you can achieve in 5 minutes. Going to set my timer to do similar tasks to see if I can match your time. Thanks for the continued encouragement through your videos 😊🙋

Wipe down fingerprints from glass doors, wipe down door knobs and switch plates, clean inside of trash cans. Thanks for your videos, really encouraging. Looking forward to making the baked spaghetti!
I clean if I'm on the phone, (even attached to the wall.. my 12 ft cord ended up closer to 25 ft , lol). I do the dishes and one shelf at a time in the refrigerator, etc.. Just staying busy!!
Hi Robin - Home from church and even laid down for a while and just watched this video. Oh I love the 5 minute idea. At my age, thats how I do most everything. But doing things that way, still gets it all done. I thought that baked spaghetti recipe looked so good but I would probably put the ground meat in mine. Can you believe 56 years ago today I was in labor? HA! Sure glad that my daughter waited till tomorrow to come. I didn’t want her birthday to be on Halloween. The filming you did at the beginning of this video was so pretty. The weather here has finally gotten cool too. I love it and it really has me energized. Poor Rachel is very sick up at college. Strep throat etc. She was tested for Covid but was negative but feeling so bad none the less. I am praying you will all stay well for the wedding. Love in Christ.
Happy Birthday to your daughter Donna! 🎉🎂 I will send up prayers for Rachel. Strep is no fun. I appreciate your prayers as well my sweet sister in Christ. Have a blessed week. 💗😊💗
I've got to try that baked spaghetti, but I would definitely add the onion and meat. Do you think sausage would be good? When I make egg salad, I slice the eggs (in both directions) in an egg slicer. That gets the pieces pretty small, and then I use a pastry cutter (like for pie dough) to chop the eggs more finely. Works great.
Hi Ann! It is really good with the onion and ground beef - I think sausage would be amazing too! 👍 I’ll have to try your method for the eggs next time. 😊💗
Thanks for your tip on cleaning the tea kettle. I thought I was going to have to buy a new one, but I just cleaned it w the vinegar/water solution and it looks brand new! You just saved me $75!
It is a good idea to have those 5 minutes chores. I clean my bathrooms every Wednesday and Saturday but I clean he sinks and bathroom mirrors whenever I enter the bathrooms and noticed they need to be refreshed. It takes very little time. I use windex for the mirrors and borax mixed with dishwashing liquid for the sinks.
Hi Robin! Happy Sunday! Love the video as always! I have a tip for you for easy hard boiled egg peeling….. crack the shell on the counter, and then roll the egg with your hand and fingers to compleatly crush the entire shell into one layer of crushed shell….run it under the fawcet with cool water, and the whole shell slips right off in one piece. This was an egg game changer for me years ago lol! ~ Audrey ☺️🥚 Ps) Just recieved my Shark vacuume this week; our Dyson quit and this time I went with this Shark…have used it twice now and LOVE it! I really appreciated your cleaning demonstration! 😃
Thank you Audrey! I will definitely try your tip! 👍 I’m so glad you love your new vacuum. Having the right tool makes all the difference and I’m loving mine too! 💗😊💗
If I don’t use ricotta, what can I use to replace it? I like the idea that most of the ingredients are kitchen stable. I don’t normally have ricotta cheese at home….
Hi Robin, I love going through my wardrobe just quickly to see if anything needs a quick tidy and also where I have my towels and face washers that way it doesn’t get out of control. Thank you for the recipe Robin, have a great week🇦🇺🇦🇺❤️😀
Wow - tried that vinegar and water in my kettle, filled to the max line and it bubbled all over the counter. Now I know to fill it half way and stand by.
I love egg salad but I always like it better when someone else makes it. Why is it has 5 minute tasks always seem like they’re going to take longer until we actually do them? Making that egg salad might take more than five minutes but not a really long time and yet it seems so daunting. I would like to know what are your favorite hot teas?
you inspired me to get a hand held vacuum and one of the quick tasks to do with it is clean out a window track or behind a door or vacuum a drawer. One small task is easy to do.
I love my Shark vacuum too. I clean it after each use. I have a corded one and a rechargeable one that converts to a handheld. Even though I wash the filters, I always keep a few sets of new ones around so I can change them out once in a while
I do a lot of similar tasks when I have few spare minutes. I have to say by far the most is wiping nose prints of the doors and vacuuming up hair off the floors! 💯😂🐶🐱

I'm going to try your baked spaghetti recipe but switch it up to pizza sauce and pepperoni rounds. What do you think? Your recipe sounds heavenly too..nice comfort food..TFS🙌
Sounds really good to me! 👍😋💗
I can’t wait to try that recipe for dinner!!!
Your recipe was very good. I made it last night. Thanks for sharing it.
Great Anya! I’m so glad! 💗😊💗
Do like your electric kettle?
There a few temperatures settings for different beverages👍.
Will rewatch this video to check the brand 🤓.
A relax video 👍
I love it! You can find it in the Kitchen section of my Amazon Store: www.amazon.com/shop/faithandflour
💗💗💗
Wipe down fingerprints from glass doors, wipe down door knobs and switch plates, clean inside of trash cans. Thanks for your videos, really encouraging. Looking forward to making the baked spaghetti!
Good ones Arlene! 👍😊💗
I would imagine your hamburger chopper tool would make quick work of the egg salad!
You’re right Lisa! I will give that a try next time! 👍😊💗
Sweep the front porch/wash up the dog dishes/quick sweep for cobwebs/organize a drawer are some of mine. Have a great week! Blessings. 🙏🏻💖🌸
Good ones Carla! 👍😊💗
I use a mezzaluna or a pastry cutter for chopping up a lot of eggs. Takes less than 30 sec. No kidding
Great idea! 👍😊💗
I clean if I'm on the phone, (even attached to the wall.. my 12 ft cord ended up closer to 25 ft , lol). I do the dishes and one shelf at a time in the refrigerator, etc.. Just staying busy!!
Way to go Holly! 👍👏🤩
Hot vinegar mixture cleans and freshens drains too! I pour the hot water/vinegar mix in bathroom drains as well.
So true! 👍😊💗
Thanks for your tip on cleaning the tea kettle. I thought I was going to have to buy a new one, but I just cleaned it w the vinegar/water solution and it looks brand new! You just saved me $75!
Yay! I’m so glad! 👍😊💗
Hi Paula
~ Audrey ☺️🥚
Ps) Just recieved my Shark vacuume this week; our Dyson quit and this time I went with this Shark…have used it twice now and LOVE it! I really appreciated your cleaning demonstration! 😃
Thank you Audrey! I will definitely try your tip! 👍
I’m so glad you love your new vacuum. Having the right tool makes all the difference and I’m loving mine too!
💗😊💗
If I don’t use ricotta, what can I use to replace it? I like the idea that most of the ingredients are kitchen stable. I don’t normally have ricotta cheese at home….
I’m really not sure Maggie. It’s one of the key ingredients, but you could always experiment. 😊💗
Hi Robin, I love going through my wardrobe just quickly to see if anything needs a quick tidy and also where I have my towels and face washers that way it doesn’t get out of control. Thank you for the recipe Robin, have a great week🇦🇺🇦🇺❤️😀
Great ideas Maggy! 💗😊💗
Robin could you please do a video on how you descale your nespresso.
Love your videos, greetings from Mexico.
I’ll see what I can do. 😉 Have a blessed week! 💗
Love the 15 min task idea, clean out my car is my idea. Must try the pasta dish. Hi Austin!!!!!😋😻
I need to add car cleaning to my list! Thanks Sara! 👍😊💗🐾
Wow - tried that vinegar and water in my kettle, filled to the max line and it bubbled all over the counter. Now I know to fill it half way and stand by.
Oh no Evelyn! 🙈 Sorry about that! I hope you wound up with a clean kettle after all that! 😂💗
Hi Lauren! I love all kinds of teas, but my favorites are probably Earl Grey and Candy Cane blend from Trader Joe’s.
☕️😊💗
That recipe sounds so good thanks for sharing.😍👍👻👻👻
Thank you Debbie! 🧡🍂🎃
I always, clean out my vehicle, when I get gas or while waiting in a drive thru windows. Keeps it looking good
That’s such a good idea Marcia!
💗😊💗
Hey Robin. Loved the receipe. Gonna cook it this week. Love all your videos.
Thank Carol and Bon Appétit! 😊😋💗
you inspired me to get a hand held vacuum and one of the quick tasks to do with it is clean out a window track or behind a door or vacuum a drawer. One small task is easy to do.
Great idea Michelle! I love it! 👍😊💗
Hi Robin, the recipe looks good, I have seen it over the years though I have never made it…..I think I will try it this week. 😊
I hope you will Lisa! Bon Appétit!
💗😊💗
Thank you for the recipe! We will be trying this out tomorrow night.
You’re welcome Alyssa! Enjoy! 😋💗
Well, vacuum cleaning is one of those 5minute tasks I would say.I really liked the egg salad,it looked delicious!!!❤
Thank you Eleftheria! I hope you are enjoying a lovely Sunday! 💗😊💗
Austin is adorable. Those ears….❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Wendy! 😄💗🐾
It’s those 5 minute things we can allow to bog us down. Yummy looking dinner. 😊🧡
So true Rebecca - and thank you!
💗😊👍
I love my Shark vacuum too. I clean it after each use. I have a corded one and a rechargeable one that converts to a handheld. Even though I wash the filters, I always keep a few sets of new ones around so I can change them out once in a while
That’s a great idea Melissa! Clean filters will keep it running well for a long time. 👍😊💗
I'm definitely going to try this spaghetti recipe
Bon Appétit Suzzette! 💗😊💗
Does that vacuum work for a heave pile rug? The one I have is fine on regular pile, but my new area rug is a nice thick pile.
That’s a good question Crystal. I don’t have a rug like that to test it out. Hopefully someone will be able to answer that for you. 💗😊💗
I do a lot of similar tasks when I have few spare minutes. I have to say by far the most is wiping nose prints of the doors and vacuuming up hair off the floors! 💯😂🐶🐱
I’m right there with you! 😂🐾🐽
Good morning to you sweet friend & Texas neighbor....hugs to you from me, Lauren! Our weather here has been BEAUTIFUL hah? Loved this video & thank you for the motivation! LOVED seeing big boy AUSTIN enjoying the outdoors...as our cats & dog, Buddy, have too! We do not get this weather too often, so we always know to enjoy it when it is here! Have a wonderful week, stay safe & God bless! XOXOXO
Good morning Lauren! So true - we know that we need to take advantage of this weather before it’s gone. 👍😂 Have a great week ahead! 😊🍂🧡🐾
@@FaithandFlour Ahhhh, yes...with the showers tomorrow, it will be REALLY getting colder here! Stay warm, stay safe & tell Austin boy I said hello!
🇮🇶🌹👍🌹
Thank you! 💗😊💗
