Fun fact - 'Mamma Mia' spent 10 weeks at Number 1 in Australia in 1975/76 and is one of the longest running Number 1 hits in Australian history. 'Mamma Mia' was one of 3 songs by ABBA to top the Australian single charts, continuously, which has never been done before! 'I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do', spent 3 weeks at Number 1, which was knocked off the Number 1 spot by 'Mamma Mia', spending 10 weeks at Number 1, which was then knocked off by their next single 'SOS', spending a week at Number 1.
11 weeks later, their next release, 'Fernando', spent 14 weeks at Number 1 and was the longest running Number 1 single in Australia for 40 years, before that record was beaten by Ed Sheeran's single 'Shape of you', which spent 15 weeks at Number 1.
8 weeks after 'Fernando' was knocked off the Number 1 spot, their next release, 'Dancing Queen' went to Number 1, spending 8 weeks at the top of the Australian charts. 2 weeks after 'Dancing Queen' lost the Number 1 spot, their next release, 'Money, Money, Money', went to Number 1 also, spending 6 weeks at the top.
1976 saw ABBA take out the Number 1 spot 5 times in Australia, collectively spending 30 weeks at the top of the Australian single charts that year, with 'Mamma Mia', 'SOS', 'Fernando', 'Dancing Queen' and 'Money, Money, Money', all claiming the top spot.
ABBA remains a big deal here. It's been said that every household in Australia has at least one ABBA single/album in their collection! Lol! I know I do!

Hello! Nice to see you again
And happy to a new great job with the classic songs of ABBA
"Mamma mia" is a classic that transcended history and made the name of a successful musical with ABBA songs written by the songwriting members Björn and Benny themselves (almost 25 years later) and recently two successful musical films in a saga ( and a third on the way) performed by renowned actors Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnam
"Mamma mia" video is an icon
With this video the ABBAmania born in Australia
    Another suggestion could be:
    "Waterloo" (first worldwide hit)
    "S.O.S." (second worldwide hit)
or "Chiquitita" (third major ABBA succes, beside Dancing Queen & Fernando, and major ABBA hit in Hyspan America)
    Best regards and take care

ABBA did so many great pop golds. The fact that they stands time is a testimony that they were brilliant composed. Song like would not be done today but that’s how it is, 50 years from now some artists from the 2020s will still be up... and ABBA of course 100 years later still going strong

My parents turned me on to Abba. My dad randomly bought a greatest hit CD when I was coming into my teens and I have been obsessed ever since. When they visited me in NY for my 30th bday I took them to see Mamma Mia on Broadway and it was literally the most fun Broadway show we had ever been to. So glad you've been reacting to so many of ABBA's hits!

I'm so glad that You follow a reaction to ABBA with "Mamma Mía"
"Mamma Mía" for me is the best pure pop If someone ask me for what is a pop song, i give them this video and this song
"Mamma Mía" have all elements: catchy melodies, more hooks, beauty voices and harmonies, it's funny
It's a great song Not in my Top 10, but is really an excellent pop song
This is an iconic video for which in Australia they asked that "Mamma Mía" be released as a single
They did it in 1975 and it was #1 in Australia for 10 weeks and ABBAmania woke up there
When the single was released in England it had a slow but steady rise to #1 and from there toppling none other than 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen in January 31, 1976
"Mamma Mia" together with their predecessor "S.O.S." are the songs that gave ABBA its musical identity as a pop group
With both songs began ABBA's great series of more than 20 worldwide hits for six consecutive years 1975/1981, included:
    Fernando
    Dancing Queen
    Take a chance on me
    Chiquitita
    The winner takes it all
From this list of hits I suggest continue with "S.O.S."
    (the single before Mamma Mía)
Some reactors did it with Oficial vídeo, the last that I saw chose the TV presentation:
    ruclips.net/video/89w-L3aICj4/видео.html
I hope to see you in another reaction to ABBA
    My best regards from

In a way, I wish you hadn't posted this song. In the past year, I have had several A𐐒BA attacks. That means once you hear one of the songs you have to listen to more A𐐒BA. And to think. I couldn't stand them when they first came out. It was after I bought their Volez Vous Album. Although, not their best album, it made me a fan, and then I saw their concert shortly after. If it weren't for my obsession with The Beatles and they didn't have such a huge discography of decent tunes, ABBA would be my #1 group. I'm not saying A𐐒BA is officially my second favorite group but they are definitely up there!

I hated that show so much and nearly got up and walked out. As a result I have no interest in ever seeing the movie version (in contrast I've been to "Jersey Boys" about four times). You seem genuinely impressed by Abba. Me too. I was born in '68 and growing up in the 70's i grew up with their music in the background of my life and didnt really pay it much attention. I guess i just took them for granted, that It was just normal for songs to be that good. No-one talked about Abba ofc. That would have been totally uncool. The Beatles, Pink Floyd and the iconic heavy metal bands. It wasnt until perhaps the '90s that i realised just how good Abba were. With hind-sight i rate them as possibly the best band, ever. Its a toss-up between them and Nirvana lol. Good mucis is just good music! It isnt nostalgia. Most of their tracks i never heard until i sought them out. But theyre just so well-written and executed. Each one a masterclass in writing, both lyrics and music.

Hi Jayvee! This is a great Abba classic. Never gets old. Abba songs no matter how happy they sound usually have a dark meaning to them.
Gotta check out Honey Honey by Abba. An early hit where both the girls and boys have lead vocals equally. The girls look stunning in the video and check out the platform boots on the boys 🎶🎶thanks for sharing

You should react to the movie Mama Mia with Meryl Streep. Lots of ABBA songs as it's normally a broadway show.
