Sure it’s not a 100-2 60 splitter? I don’t see any DISTRO there that puts out a 60 amp paddle. Usually those are for a lunch pale and the gang box is put on top of the DISTRO box in the black pocket for other departments, the node, chargers etc..

Don’t forget to give them a good sniff for the smell of overheated plastic.

LOL!!! YOu are prepping a feature film and your inspection is only visual???? First of all, you need to do a way more in-depth VISUAL. Then, you must check the continuity in all your cables and boxes. You don't want to find out on set that one of your boxes is shorted or that you have loose contacts anywhere.

Poor gaffer or best boy standing behind the camera trying not to roll his eyes, wondering why he's not the one explaining this since he's the one who actually does it.

yeah, it's usually the lighting in-check crew that does these things, but a dop could also be doing visual check-ups, but then you're kinda putting on a cap that's not yours, ya know.

Shane actually cut his teeth as a gaffer before becoming a DP.

@HollandsPrintset lighting gaffer or rigging gaffer? I know a lot of gaffers that don’t know rigging.
