Hehe. That's nice. :) Was wondering if Samm is christian. The gospel sound indicates it, but im not entirely sure when i read the lyrics for this song or some of the other ones. Maybe it's more a cultural faith or I might be misunderstanding the messages altogether. :)
In my class, my classmates heard "Broke" for the first time and they're like "Eyy...", jamming and everything. I feel so special being able to hear Samm Henshaw. *Man, to you who's reading this, bless you.*
Samm... Samm.. Samm... Why is it that everytime I hear Your Music feels like the Greatest happy pill that makes me addicted everytime.... God bless this man

It might just be about self worth in general; expectations both of yourself and from others...and the inevitable depression and anguish that comes from unrealistic standards placed on you by others or yourself. How it rots your gratitude and makes you ever focused on the things you lack rather than what you have. I think that's manifested in the following stanza: "My old man, see he invested in me Another penny in the well though, oh well so Oh brother You don't need what I need The thing you take for granted, that's a blessin' to me" ...Samm seems to casually dismiss the work/financial help of his father while at the same time inwardly chastising someone else for not acknowledging/appreciating what they have; Samm very keenly aware of the other person's shortcomings because he lacks their so-called "blessing" ,but by the end of the song he figures it out. Just like you said. This song is good stuff.
It takes nothing short of a cosmic event for me to enjoy a tune on repeat. This, good sirs, qualifies so hard. Thank you for bringing the joy + the soul + the nacho performance. Day officially brightened.
Wow! What a cool video. The music and the animation combined was just sweet. I wish more objects in my house would sing me songs smiling crazily. So far only my pencil sharpener does this.
All of his music is inspiring & uplifting. It's nice to listen to something that doesn't have to have a negative impression pushed into your mind. Music really just needs talent to sound good & he proves that. I hope one day this kind of sound replaces what we hear on the radio today.
"Faith won't pay the bills, but doubt won't save us all" When you decide to chase your dreams and truly live by faith, this line hits different. Shout out to all the trailblazers trying to follow their hearts on the road less traveled.
“We alright” I was already crying with heavy dark painful hurt heart but when I heard that something broke inside me and I just want to remind anyone that sees this Please check in on your people even if it’s been a while if u care then care.
@@BritneyT. My interpretation of it would be that when Messi moves past defenders he does it in a really clean cut tidy way. But it ain't too high to touch
And it ain't that deep to fall
See, faith won't pay the bills (oh yeah)
But doubt won't save us all (oh no)
