and of course, the classic Blade Runner, the first one.
Need to check Automata, the rest are already planned in my next video😉Thanks
amazing videos and material. This channel is actually very good. thank you so much for this upload.
@MM-pl5ed thank you so very much, I really appreciate it 🖤 🧡
Great list Dark city is one of my favourite films and Immortals I found very strange. I'll have to watch it again. Ultraviolet I liked but like you say it is not very deep. Avalon blows my mind as my life at times has echoed some of the scenes. The birds flying around the flak tower - I saw in real life -very weird.
David Cronenberg has several films that could be in this category. Videodrome, Dead Ringers, eXistenZ. Hellraiser also for the aesthetics
eXistenZ is planned for the next video on this topic;))
An obscure one I recommend is "Liquid Dreams," which you can find a VHS rip on youtube
Alien ,terminator, predator ,matrix and most of the movies you listed staple goods for long nights of taking stuff apart and building gadgets of mad science mwhahahaahaha!!!! good selection im glad i followed your Chanel
I'm actually writing a post-apocalyptic horror novel set in the far future. My aim is to merge Gothic Horror, Cosmic Horror, Body Horror, Apocalyptic Eschatological Horror, Cyber Punk, Gothic Punk, Weird West, Splatter Punk, Post Apocalyptic Punk, and a little bit of Extreme Horror and see what comes out. I try to think of what is fashion in this post-apocalyptic landscape, depending on the region. For cities that have cultural and urban decay. I imagined Victorian Gothic fashion that the upper class would wear, but for the lower class in demilitarized zones, I thought of the fashion sense of Industrial, Punk, and Metal where rebellious violent street gangs and criminal organizations rule the areas of a big city where law doesn't exist. While the rich are secluded and protected with the fashion sense of Victorian aristocrats of the late 1800s. with some wearing layers of dank dirty clothes as if the characters are homeless. The John Wick movie character the Bowery King and his soldiers helped me on fashion would be in a far future police state that acts as a prison. I imagined the Wild West with Victorian fashion mixed in for the outside little ghost towns and train station villages, barren wastelands. I thought of Mad Max, Biker Gangs, Cowboys, Outlaws, Law Men, Bounty Hunters, Bandits, Saloon Wenches, Miners and Prospecters, Rail Road Workers, Warlike Indians, Mercenaries, and the creatures with their fashion sense for the ones that do wear clothes. I also looked at what people wore in the Middle Ages and Renaissance and tried to weave it into what some of the creatures would where. Something that gave off a Dark Ages and black death vibe. As well as how people are buried in fine suits when they are buried at a funeral for some of the monstrous characters. I took a lot of inspiration and I hope I'm in the right direction in making the look and appeal of the world and the characters feel natural as can be. I always look for movies and darker music to get inspired, and I never saw Necromentia. I will definitely have to check that one out to get more inspiration.
Love repo genetic opera. Not a fan of musicals but I like 3 and repo genetic opera is one. The other 2 are Sweeney todd and rocky horror. These are all great movies!!
The City of Lost Children. For some steam punk.
@@RoastLambShanksAs well as City of Ember😉
Delicatessen also
I certainly don't slow down anything I just can't speak faster because I'm not a native speaker😅In general, this is a problem of modern people - short videos, the inability to assiduously perceive long information due to its abundance, including due to ADHD😉
Thank you for watching🖤
The best industrial movie of all time is "Wall-E" 😁 Seriously, I need to check out "Dark City", "Avalon" and "Gene Generation".
oh you definitely need to😉
🎉 i seen a lot of these
"especially in my teenage era when I didn't have any friends..(soto voce) I still don't." That made me laugh more than it should've. Check out Tron 1982, Night of the Comet 1984, Radioactive Dreams 1985, Brazil 1985, Tank Girl 1995, Twelve Monkeys 1995, Barb Wire 1996, Six-String Samurai 1998, Casshern 2004, Æon Flux 2005, (personally I like the anime more than the live-action), Renaissance 2006, The Road 2008, Goemon 2009, Priest 2011, Gantz 2011 , Snowpiercer 2013, Mad Max: Fury Road 2015, Alita: Battle Angel 2019, The Creator 2023, Borderlands 2024, Atlas 2024, The Electric State 2024.
Since this is the first part of their video series on this topic, many of the films from your list will definitely be there in one way or another😉
I understand people like Sci-Fi. I prefer the realistic. "Let the Right One In" (Swede Version), Sid and Nancy, Kick the Hornets Nest Trilogy, Made In Britain, LaFemme Nikita. Romper Stomper, Oi Oi Oi. Skinhead Skinhead Skinhead.
@@rangercal1" Let the right one in" starting the list of realistic movies? Interesting 😁 I prefer war/history related films, especially ww1, ww2. Every genre can bring something worthy😉
@rangercal1 The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest trilogy is also one of my favorites
Definetly watch HARWARE
🖤
Paris Hilton...talk about grotesque!
Exactly!😏
I feel that Paris Hilton was typecast in Repo TGO because her role as "a beauty-obsessed, druggie with a willingness to go to any lengths to get what she wants, but ultimately failing" made me feel like she wasn't acting.
I'm surprised that Avalon didn't have an overwhelming effect on you. I loved it from beginning to end.
It definitely gave me the wow effect, but closer to the middle of the movie. The beginning was weird...like too weird, but as I realised later it makes total sense
Inception with Leonardo do caprio is weird , its not cyber , its just different and weird with stranger lines between reality and that other thing .😀😀😀😯😉😈😉😀😎💀💀💀💀💀💀
