Interesting tactic, I think tho antigonids should still have the edge over you if you attack them? But I’ve not really explored navy dominance that much 😊
I've been playing a campaign as Knossos, and I've found a navy to be very important. Gotten into a war with the Ptolemies for the Aegean, and I've been having a good time fighting them for naval supremacy. For the first time ever in my life in a R:TW campaign, I've had to put some serious focus into the naval aspects of a campaign, and it's been quite fun. The AI seem to make a lot of ships, make actual decent sized navies with them, and due to ships having much higher chance of sinking now in battles, it makes engagements feel significant. @@Red_Zed
Another glorius video ! Fun fact, I am from Thessaloniki, you know, the city you are going to take in yout Epirus campaign and we dont't exactly like Athens but your guide gives the apeetite to play as Athens!
@@Red_Zed Yes! Like Liverpool and Manchester for example! Αll jokes asside, Athens is superb, it has the most beautiful light in the world, the most beautiful sky in the world. Also, it's funny when you get salty, I think we all get it, it's an honest reaction and that's what makes it nice!
Yes man! Liverpool v Manchester I get it, for me it’s Lancashire vs Yorkshire stemming all the way back to the Wars of the Roses, but you’re rivalry is quite a bit longer back than that, which is cool af 😊 Ye I think I’ve been when I was a kid but I’d love to go there now, just a shame that half the Acropolis is in the British museum 😭 Haha thanks man, ye it is my reaction to what is happening, sometimes I feel like it’s too much tho sometimes, but British people have made whinging a National past time tbf 😆😆
@@Red_Zed I went for nice & safe Massalia to get my bearings & just conquered around the coast a bit. Since then I've dipped into the various smaller greek factions, like the Leagues on the mainland & Rhodes. Generally up until an enemy army appears from somewhere I'm not expecting XD
Nice, massalia is quite difficult as well tho 😜 ye some good safe ones are Bosporans or Bactria, and I like your Rhodes pick as you can basically go anywhere 😊
Do you plan on doing a guide for Bithynia? I would be very interested in seeing it. I am trying a campaign as Bithynia and it seems borderline impossible. For starters, you have your own unique mini-culture that no one else has, which makes keeping conquered settlements incredibly difficult due to poor public order. Because of this, you need to have your already small army separated to garrison them or they'll revolt. Then you have a full Seleukid stack right next to your lands, which you can really do nothing about if it invades because your army is tiny and split up. It invaded in my campaign, and I had to abandon and destroy all my settlements and start fresh over in Byzantium. Now I have a tiny army, no money and a couple of small population settlements all ready to revolt. I would send it through to LegendofTotalWar as a disaster campaign if he was open to mods, haha. I'm really considering at this point in getting into some boats, sailing up to Crimea, and starting a Thrakian-Bosporan kingdom, but I'll still run into the culture/public order issues. I'm really curious as to how you would approach and handle the mess that is the Bithynian campaign. I really want to play as them as their units are incredible.
I will do a Bithynia guide yes! I also take disaster campaigns, you can send it to me on my discord which is in the description 😊 But ye I’ll take a look, not played them for a little while so it will be interesting to see how they do :) Thanks for the comment 😁
@@Red_Zed I tried putting up the save file on your Discord, but it's too large, and the file was "too powerful", to quote Discord. Even they are afraid of the public order. Oh well, I should be able to salvage it anyway, but Bithynia can be a real bitch. I wonder if the big Seleukid stack will always attack or if it's just luck of the draw. Campaign was going okay until it invaded and ruined everything.
I sent you an email with the save mate. Maybe you can figure it out. I'm feeling like it is luck of the draw with that big stack. M battle/H campaign is the difficulty.@@Red_Zed
Why doesn't Athens, have a temple dedicated to Athena? Like it's in the name, Athens. Of all the factions in Greece they are the ones who should not be without one. Same issue with Rhodes not having a temple to Helios which is in their faction symbol. Why do these factions not have temples dedicated to the Gods they were historically aligned to?
@@CHRISTOS_KAZANOPOULOS I'm clearly talking about the building chain Einstein. All Athens has is the Acropolis but no building chain for Athena despite being the most famous faction to worship her to the point of naming themselves after her.
@@rorschach1985ify acropolis is the citadel that the temple of Athena was build which is called Parthenon, it's not the actual temple.I think it would be useless to have a building queue for a second temple of Athena when you already have one.The only logical add it would be to put an option to upgrade the Parthenon to something more magnificent like pantheon when Athens become a huge city
@@CHRISTOS_KAZANOPOULOS Bull. If you don't want a 2nd temple in Athens just lock a temple to Athena out of Athens so long as the Acropolis is around. It makes zero sense for them not to build it elsewhere.

I recommend going for naval supremacy ASAP. Ships are cheap. Secure your trade, lift blockades, deny landings.

How about keep going East and do a guide for Pontus?
I will do a guide for all the remastered factions :)
How do you select all your units and move them together while keeping formation? In one of your videos you mentioned ALT button and something else?
Yes select the units you want, hold alt and then drag, left click drag that is, and if you want to swivel the formation then hold Ctrl as well :)
