  • Whoever though MPV's were dead didn’t count on the all new BMW 2 series active tourer. This newest addition to the BMW family is definitely a huge step up from the outgoing model.
Massive changes have been made to the 2022 BMW 2 series AT interior including BMW’s newest iDrive 8 system which, for the first time ever in a BMW, is not controlled through a swivel wheel anymore but only through touch.
The 2022 BMW 2 series AT exterior has been given a more modern and less boring look. It’s still not the most exciting BMW they built but definitely is better looking than the outgoing model which, in my opinion, looked very boring and bland.
Follow me on my review and see how it drives and behaves on the road, how practical the car is and if it indeed is suitable to transport you and your family in comfort and ease.

What do you guys think about the fact that BMW has gotten rid of the swivel wheel in this car? Will you miss it or can you manage the touch screen?

The better are the drive assist, the most you can focus on the touchscreen.

@@kojsiusoaliu6772 that is also true, but still it's unsafe to get your eyes off the road for too long :)

@@thirst4petrol537 yep, especially in cities when drive assists struggle the most and unpredictive things car popup at short distance, I'm only focused on my device when i'm cruising highway. Otherwise : eye on the road

@@kojsiusoaliu6772 same here, i dont use my phone or anything while driving. That's why i still prefer the swivel wheel and physical buttons(at least for the climate control).

Huge improvement compared to the previous generation. Surprising that all car brands seem to give up on MPV's except BMW and Mercedes. Good review man!

Thank you! And yes not a lot of MPV options left. This one is definetely a huge step up from it's predecessor. Will compete with the B class strongly.

@@gorindolea oh im sorry, that was a typo. I meant to write 2 series. This car does have decent legroom in the rear bit imo a sportage has a bit more legroom in the rear. It's not insanely more than the BMW but still a few inches more
