I just discovered this video recently, and it has become my most valued one on YT. This line traverses the street by the former U.S. Army Patton Barracks kaserne in southern Heidelberg, which was the location of my military housing during my assignment there from 1978-1981. It brings back many memories of that time. I note that as it is about to pass by the base entrance (right) at approx. 7:55+, the snack/drink stand (good ol' "Pop's") that was on the opposite (left) side of the street then, is no longer there, sadly....nor are the prior city bus stops just outside the kaserne, on either side of the street...only a couple features of the video that are so notable to me. I remember musing now and then at the time that it would be good to have a tram line on this street to take to downtown Heidelberg. Little did I know or even suspect that it really would come to pass one day. And I am *so glad*, even though I missed witnessing it firsthand by so many years. (Man, I could have explored Kirchheim more readily also, especially for any restaurants.) So much has changed with Heidelberg transit, I wish all the tram line revisions/additions had been there back then.
Please....do not take this item away!!!! Means more than the world to me. Eternal thanks for posting it.

Sehr schön. Besonders, da es aus dem "echten Fahrbetrieb" stammt.. nicht so wie die Videos des RNF die mit Sonderfahrten aufgenommen wurden.
