I don't think you can go wrong with Derwent, they're such great quality and the colours are so rich. I just love the woodland cards Melanie, they are beautiful 😍☺️
Winter Wonderland🦉🪵🍂 Your woodland concertina cards are stunning Melanie, such beautiful rich colours😍 Those XL blocks look like lots of fun too☺️ Thank you for sharing🙏🏼
Hi Mel, I really like your different woodland concertinas. They are looking beautifully. It really makes me want to make more of them. It is a very nice table decoration. I'm looking forward to seeing what you paint with your new materials. I saw a video by a German artist where she tested the Schmincke colours. They were too bright for her. But I think when you paint over it, it's nice for a base. I saw that the ArtGraf are also available as narrow blocks in beautiful different colours. I have now used the Jackman's pigments in such way that I don't sprinkle them on the paper but dissolve them in a palette with water. This produces really beautiful colours. Thank you very much for sharing this video. See you soon:)) Winter Woodland:)
These are so interesting. Thanks for sharing as they are new to me... I'm intrigued! May have to try them, love the prussian blue and the forest green!
Thank you! Looking forward to seeing how you get on with the Schmincke Earth tubes. I’m in Germany & have been pondering them for a loooong time. Hesitating to duplicate any mediums I already have that might produce the same effect. I’ll live vicariously through your experiments. You may have sold me on the XL blocks though. 😂 And lately I’ve been tempted to pop my artgraf pan in with my pan pastels. 😁
Winter woodland. I have the graphite blocks, they’re fun. I like the colours in the charcoal set a lot, but I just can’t with the texture. Seeing them crumble is enough to give me goosebumps 😅
I wonder what it would be like if you also color in the back side for when you would use them as table decoration. Then you would have a immersive woodland experience 360° (sort of). Beautiful artwork!
Bromley’s are great! If they have a certain item it is often cheaper and arrives faster than Jackson’s. They have less open stock. Worth comparing before buying Jackson’s.
Hi Mel. I love your beautiful woodland themed cards. They are very effective and great fun. Bromley’s used to be Ken Bromley art supplies. I’ve been using them for a while and they’re really good. I love their catalogue. Have a lovely Christmas 🎄
The background of the card with the woodland owl also looks like shadows of the trees in the foreground!!! Beautiful.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful artworks too for the Winter Woodland theme Melxx
Winter Woodland. Loved the cards, thank you for sharing.

😊 Hi Mel, I enjoyed your video! Thank you ❤
So glad!
Love the art graf - on watercolour paper they are quite granulating if you add lots of water too 😊. The XL blocks are now on my list too. Thankyou

I was thinking I'd put them all together so that each one fits next to each other- that way it would be a 360 experience!
@MelanieChadwick either way it will be like candy for the eyes and soul 😍

Thanks Jennie and that makes sense! I don't know why I didn't twig that, thought the name sounded familiar. Have a lovely Christmas too. X
Melanieeeeeee❤❤❤
I think Bromley’s are actually quite old. I think that they were from the 60s, or the 50s even.
Winter Woodland. ❤
