The tithing law is obsolete (dead / of no effect) in the New covenant i.e A Christian is not commanded to tithe. What the Bible requires in the New Covenant is generous giving as expressed in 2 Cor 9:7 Each one should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not out of regret or compulsion. For God loves a cheerful giver. No Apostle of Jesus taught or practice tithing.
