Good day Snnuy, his has nothing to do with the new expansion, but I thought it could be a cool challenge idea for path of champions. There is the relic called "The Curators's Gatebreaker" which let's you strike the enemy nexus with your champion on play. Now the challenge would be to kill the enemy with only that strike. I like to play it with Bard, getting him buffed and killing my opponent in one go. Maybe there is a better way thou as well.
This deck looks frustrating in the sense that it looks like it never runs out of gas. There’s always a card to play. Updraft completely changes how we’ll handle fleeting cards now. Buuuut I’ll still be playing Janna.
Wouldn't Den + Temple just be like, infinite card draw? Because Den makes everything fleeting, but updraft takes prio over fleeting. So all your fleeting cards just get shuffled back. I've only just watched Game 1, but that's already what I'm thinking with this deck.
I feel like the sunken temple card will eventually become garbage tier. This set seems to promote landmark usage and becuase of that people will play landmark destruction. If landmarks end up not being as used then it can be op. It just seems its a bait card like a lot of old magic cards that look op on paper but play into a meta thats going to be countered.
I like this deck, strong but hard to navigate. Now all we need is a slight nerfed to Janna level up (6 -> 8 perhaps?) and Nilah (16+ to 18+?) and everything will be fine.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think that the hype is going to die pretty quick and the meta is going to get stale off this expansion pretty quick. Any time you introduce mana cheating into a game, it kind of weakens a lot of other archetypes and deck styles.
I don't think it's unpopular, it's basically what have been happening since the 3 champs expansions started. New expansion is cool, but at the end of the day they are only 2 archetypes (draw and big units ramp)
@@garoluis7366 you could also argue that drawing iant an archetype, it's just something every deck wants to do to make it more consistent right. I know that bilge and freljord are the two regions best known for that

I think if you took Janna out of Bilgewater she'd struggle to level without extremely specific cards.
