Actually Bang PD started as a producer at JYP Entertainment before leaving to start Big Hit. It's where he got the nickname "Hitman Bang", for all the hit songs he produced for them.

I'm sure Bang PD has his serious face too just like any father figures but look at his smile! Not just he put the 7 boys together, all the other legendary producers, choreographers, songwriters, cameramen, all staff are basically selected by him. His idea of training the boys, let them learn HipHop but also great use of each members talents. Setting the mission statement for BigHit “Music & Artist for Healing", giving them freedom & all his support to write their own music. Looking at the BTS song credits, his name is behind a lot of the songs we know wuch as DNA, Airplane Pt.2, NO more , Not Today, Mic Drop, Boy in Lov, Boy with Luv, Bolld Sweat & Tears, I need u, Idol, Spring Day, Fake Love, Fire etc. That's why he resigned as Hype's Chairman of the Board of Directors to focus on music production inside of being occupied by day-to-day company operations (but still retained as chairman of the board so he is still providing directions).
The guy you thought were familiar is Lee Jung-jae. He played Seong Gi-hun in Squid Games. He’s a very big actor in Korea

I truly love Bang PD' relationship with Bangtan. It's just so sweet and funny! He always trusted and believed in the guys and saw their potential. He constantly encouraged the members to be truthful to themselves and express their own feelings and thoughts through music even if there were high chances that people don't listen to those songs for the topics, or if those could be controversial, but as always BTS killed it. 💜 Also, he has made a lot of hits! he's one of the main producers.
I completely agree about the letter concept. Bts constantly write heartfelt letters to each other and you don't see that often in western culture. I think more people should do that. The boys have inspired me to write letters to my own friends and it feels good doing so. It really shows your heart towards that person.

it is pretty normal in my country that we wont get hyper sensitive when we talk about diets. i think it´s the same in korea. because when you are doing something about it, it´s a good thing right?
and you need support from people around you. like i am doing right now irl in fact, i talk to my colleagues about it and i am proud.
but if someone i haven´t spoken to in a while, would say i have gained weight. i would get hurt because then it´s not about missing me, but rather shaming me for the way i look.
but i think it´s more motivating talk in korean. at least from what i know.
