Tom Cahill came to Chile in the mid 90's. I had the honor of attending a technical demonstration witch was sponsored by Geiger, a local pinball distributor, at the Sheraton Hotel of Santiago. The speech he made was very similar to this video (Flinstones and USA World Cup was used to ilustrate us). At the end of the session, he nicely talks with some of the attendees and I win a couple of WMS manuals autographed by him. Quite an adventure for me. Tom Cahill visitó a Chile a mediados de los 90. renate happens to be beautifull for tv. and ofcourse seeing all that circuit prints and wires and solonoid and switches. she would say. now i did not know how easy that was XDXDXD
Jesus H Christ! I know this was 1990, but really… was this the best they could do? I mean Indiana Jones was released 10 YEARS before this shite. Pinball execs and CEOs and techs never have had any idea about media production or marketing and should never ever be let anywhere near projects like this. Everything about it… everything, from the lighting, to the framing, to the script, to the idea, to the cast, to the camera framing is absolutely shocking. Even for a bunch of bosos from 1990. Jesus. The frightening thing is if anyone’s seen that video Jersey Jack just put out of Jack arriving at work with Steve Ritchie, nothing much has changed! That video could have been shot in 1990…. Right after this one lmfao.
Williams was on the upswing at this time...I never saw or was made aware of this video from.our distributor!
Look at those assembly lines.
These days one man has to be an expert in it all to keep them alive.
I love how Renate has a mic and she was "from the audience"
r e a l i s m
I love how she's only there to ask dumb questions
Thanks for sharing. Again a nice 'historic' gem worth to save for the future.
Love seeing these old operator videos. Only time you'll see an unboxing of a Williams classic

Was there ever a Lesson 2?
And this is a gem of a video not very often you see a new in box Williams Pinball Machine getting un-boxed.
Hurry, hurry, step right up! 😁
Williams' attract modes always grabbed ya....
I like how the coffin carrier at Williams is just as old and creaky as the ones in all our basements :-)
It's like vintage April O'Neal is doing a story on Williams.
Thanks Duncan, never seen a brand new Gameshow!
Such a shame that that’s all gone now. Those entire machines from every bit and bolt was made in the USA.
What’s your name ?
- Renata
Ok thanks reneé
😂

and every household has a cart
To be fair, this wasn't directed at households, and very few households had pins at the time. Not like today!
Man: "Let me know if you need anything mansplained to you"
Me: Wow, this is dated...
Woman: "What's the plunger"
Carry on.
Awkwardness abounds
