kennethwestlake1 the fx160 is an awesome ski ,if you look well after it it will give you many hours of reliable pleasure . They are my fav yamahas and I've had 480 hp sho's but still love the fx160 a lot . The vx 1800 yamaha skis are just as awesome and ime favouring them above the fx160 cause they getting old now and have nicasil cylinder plating. The vx1800 skis are going for good prices second hand ,people push the price cause they keep there value same as the vx1100 skis 😊
Redrockat what year did the vx 1800 come out? there are non down in Cornwall England . How do they compare to Ho 160s? same just lower rpm? also could I get your e mail if that's ok? as long as it keeps up with my friends seedoo GTX supercharged 👍

@@andredesouza9767 usually we put the remote for the ski in the file folder with all the paper work for coast guard certification and licensing . This file always goes with the ski and is kept in a safe spot . The security system might sometimes come into affect when PwC battery is disconnected. Then you get the remote out and unlock it . But I’ve rarely seen that happen .
Same piece of shit that will leave you stranded in the water bobbing down a river. randomly just locks into security mode. stay away from this security bullshit on a waverunner.

the battery of the remote is inside , you have to open it up . The Dongle works without a battery .
