Here in New Zealand: I have seen one of these at a Caltex station in NZ near wellington Airport, the station is now owned by Z (The NZ government bought out Shell NZ and re-named it Z) and the car wash has sadly been replaced with a Washtec, they are replacing all car washes they have with them, BP are now using them too. Mobil I'm not sure but their latest was a Ryko. Caltex are getting Laser wash 360's. Caltex are usually the only ones who use touch-free systems.
Daft question probably, but whats the point of adding rainx, leaving it for a second or two and then blasting it off with high pressure. Surely that did nothing?
It does run better than before the videos you did before and ya the Laserwash 4000 arm are thin and I don't get it why PDQ Makes a machine that stops and turns and keeps going and no tri foam that's not cool
***** It COULD have been a CareFree Laserwash 4000, they had the option of stainless steel covers. Most CareFree bridges have been replaced with PDQ bridges or replaced all together, since they were only produced form 1989-1991. Heres a Pic from PDQ I reposted on Flickr: www.flickr.com/photos/88148474@N05/13454666453/
I have to admit, that does look familiar. They gave this wash a pretty extensive renovation a couple years before I started making car wash videos. It used to be in pretty rough shape.
This car wash has sadly been demolished.
Not sure how I came across this, I worked there from 1993-1999
Was it the same
2 weeks ago, I went to washworld car wash after I left from
Ruby tusday. It looked just like this car wash.
