The guy who draws the One Punch Man manga designed Crystal Man when he was a kid. Also Dust Man. Idk if he was the only repeat winner but that's pretty fn impressive.
These PCM samples are truly savage, how did you squeeze these beefy samples down to the size/bitrate needed to fit into the limitations of the chip? Incredible work yet again
You almost never hear whistles through the YM2612, but every time I do, it's absolutely magnificent. Thank you for this excellent rearrange. I think more music done through the YM2612 could use MORE WHISTLE!
I was looking at these scopes and being like "where is that main lead? I don't see it." And then I realized it's sharing a channel with the bass. You squeezed two simple and distinct instruments (a sawtooth bass and a sine lead) out of a singe channel, genius move!
You managed to take a theme I always thought sounded kind of boring and turned it into a mysterious, somber tune. It just goes to show you that instrumentation is very important in making a song stand out.
There's something about FM 3 that I find fascinating. There's a sine wave within a sawtooth that are seemingly acting completely independent of each other. Providing 2 entirely different functions. But both come from the same channel. Wonder how the code behind it works.
Wonderful as always. You flesh out a unique mood with every megaman track, and it always fits wonderfully as I imagine the stage in my head. I want to play these games again with complete scores by you.
Just like what you'd expect it to sound like if it was released on Sega or any other platform using the Yamaha sound chip. Actually, better because this was a labor of love by an obvious fan. Excellent job!
What a great cover, i would love to listen to more NES soundtracks in this exact style, megaman 5 inclusive ofc since it's the megaman game i had, also i love the image background 😅 quite an original style, looks like a 80's super villian
A shame there's still no decent DMF player for retro consoles. As much as I enjoy those Deflemask/Furnace covers, having to listen to them on RUclips is depressing.
I was legit shocked some crybabies randomly showed up complaining when he's been generating these amazing cursed images for nearly a year now lol. I hope he doesn't stop because of a bunch of whiners.
I guess the general mindset is to shame AI out of existence, though that has no chance of working. Otherwise, some of these people seem to be under the impression that without AI Savaged Regime would be paying artists for thumbnails on songs that bring in hardly any money.
@@davidspyro If you mean YM2612 remixes of SNES songs, yeah that'd be cool. But as far as remixes for the SPC700 (SNES) go, the best we're gonna get is probably Sega CD (the Ricoh RF5C68)

Wowowow. Loved this song but you took it to the next level. Bravo!
Lumpy!!
woah
ayo its lumpy
I'd concur but I rather grew up with MM4. Regardless, their work is funky fresh.
AYY
Perfect music for driving home.
👋
Perfect music
Preferred Wave Man’s theme for the occasion, but whatever.
also perfect for on the toilet or eating cheetos on my sweaty leather couch ❤
I'd absolutely love to play this on real hardware. Sounds amazing
I bought xeno just because he did music on it and it was worth it. the music sounds phenomenal on a sega genesis
Really love the use of chimes in this song, gives it a very "crystal" sound.
i love these cursed thumbnails
Isn't that from an actual boxart?
@@soundspark They seem AI generated images of the Robot Masters if they were in an actual boxart. Cursed indeed, I fucking love these.
love the crystal clear sound
the absolute master of the ym2612
Crunchy, groovy, no complaints...loved it.
keep it up with these utterly grotesque AI generated megamen --- I love them
This one's synthetic skin doesn't seem to be holding up very well.
Same here. It's hilarious. I wonder what prompts he used to make them.
Or don't because theft isn't cool

I want him to use the joker for clown man if he ever does mm8 covers 😅
My favorite YM2612 channel is back :)
You make me sad. I cry now 😭😭😭
Mega Drive sound chip still has got catchy sound nowadays. Well done...
Loving the use of the FM tubular bells/chimes , really does a lot to add to the atmoshpere of the song
Yeah, feels like crystal
That bass tho
Good observation. The bass is perfectly punchy. This could be a great 80's pop song.
As one wise worm once said: "Groovy!" Good job!
Way cool!
And a wise cow also said:
"Well done." 🐮
"Tender"
i luv how this makes the theme much more melodic and memorable
This is truly an impressive reimagining. I particularly like how you extended the main riff. Very nice ambience.
Never heard a Crystal Man remix that groovy. Hands down my favourite take, well done mate, you really put your soul into those work of yours 👌
This sounds incredible, would love to see more NES covers like this one, including megaman 5, also i love the artstyle of the image, quite original 😅
An often forgotten tune, this is hands down in my top 5 megaman tracks. Solid cover as always
Get this in Sequel Wars! PLEASE!!
indeed
IIRC his tracks will be used for the "modern mode" (I forgot its name but the updated sprites one)
It's probably gonna feature in Sequel Wars indeed, like his MM4 remixes 😊
Confirmed
I have no idea where you find these funny wallpapers, but I like them, they make me smile.
Wow, sounds so clean. I know I shouldn't be shocked by now, but damn
The background images you use for these always kill me.
Reminds me of some sort of 80s sci fi novel cover.
I want him to cover the ending credits song so bad
This is absolutely INCREDIBLE. Made this song sound 3000x better
The whistling and chiming made this sound chill, magical and nostalgic. Superb work.

I love these 80s synthwave vibes, you keep the "retro feel", what a genius!

It's incredible how just giving the track a more stable percussion section changes the feel so much.

Beautiful, best version of Crystalman IMO!
Crystal clear FM sound, man!
Even went a step further beyond by making it sound like a crystal too o:
You managed to take a theme I always thought sounded kind of boring and turned it into a mysterious, somber tune. It just goes to show you that instrumentation is very important in making a song stand out.
Sweet Lord, it's so... _beautiful!!_

it's the special mode, you can use the 4 oscillators separately.
Oh, I love the Tresaure/GEMS sounding feel in the instrument choices.
Wonderful as always. You flesh out a unique mood with every megaman track, and it always fits wonderfully as I imagine the stage in my head. I want to play these games again with complete scores by you.
Never really cared for this song or the stage but now this is one of my favorite stage themes, thank you
Ooh. Love the art and how groovy this track is.
Crystal Core Zone.
"Crystal Core Zone."
It's just sounds like Sonic The Hedgehog stage. ^^
This one's got the feel of a crystalline shmup stage.
Nice Cover! Makes me want to replay Megaman 5.
Not gonna lie, this plus the Sky High Zone from Sonic is the reason I subbed to your channel. What a throwback for me this is! Sick!
So good, had to blast it on the speakers.
one of my favorite tracks on a soundtrack that slaps from front to back, love this
You're making me get a mix of your stuff. Been a *long* time since I've been a fan of someone's work like this.
Gives a bit of Mega Man 8 vibes.
Just like what you'd expect it to sound like if it was released on Sega or any other platform using the Yamaha sound chip. Actually, better because this was a labor of love by an obvious fan. Excellent job!
My man SR back at it again at Krispy Kreme, I see ♥
Thank you for blessing us as always
The FM1 R Channel slide is filthy, I love it.
I like the drum set ❤❤❤
Damn this is so unbelievably good. Can I just live in a world of new Genesis/MD games that SR composes?
You did an amazing job of capturing the atmosphere and mood of this stage even better than the original.
Very nice work! Congratulations!

Always love your stuff but tbh this is my favorite you’ve done in a long while
Man, you made it GODLY.
Mega Man Sequel Wars MM5 hype! 😍😍
Man, when Sequel Wars MM5 comes out, and this is in it, I am gonna get so fucking blazed and just take it all in. This is great
This cover would not be out of place in the Stratus Dance Club, a popular dance club in the San Diego area in the 80s. Nice job!
this is amazing bro I love the bass
I've only played the games a little, but I LOVE YOUR MEGA MAN REMIXES!!!
The AI generated thumbnail looks like real American video game box art from back in the day.
Tested some speakers with this song. I Love the Bass Tone in this
look at how mega that man is
this was stunning!
Amazing. Incredible. Talented.
love the crystal patch at around 0:50
Wow this is really good!🔥❤🔥
oh this is beautiful
this is exceptional
I swear this man is incapable of missing.
IS THAT A SEGA GENESIS SOUND CHIP???
The bassline is giving me serious Bomberman 64 vibes!
Beautiful
Love this a lot more than the original given MM5 has my top 3 osts in the series
Mick Jagger Man? I do believe Megaman has met his match with that one, nobody outlives Mick Jagger, nor a robot-master who has his power.
Ha ha ha. The Megaman in the background image looks like Prophet from Crysis. 🤣🤣
Manly Mega Man, punches every robot master to its death
This one has a very Gunstar Heroes feel to it
Too good
This is absolutely *beautiful!* _Please,_ tell me this is going into "Episode Blues" of _Rockman Giga World!_
Super cool!

vgm bro?
There's a couple. Sega MegaDrive Vgm Player by Dead Fish Software and XGM / VGM player for Megadrive
i love this
Well I guess this is what Crystal man's theme will be in Sequel Wars
Love this AI art keep it up.

What's not to like about Mega Chad?
What generator did he use?
This version sounds like a Genesis game I recently listened to the soundtrack of. I think it was called Thunder Force IV or something.
Me: Mega Man 5 ost is perfect and can’t be improved. *glares in Complete Works*
SR: Hold my beer.
Ninten-Don't ever stop cranking out these masterpieces.
GROOVY!
MAKE MORE MEGAMAN COVERS! YOUR STYLE IS SO UNIQUE!
Excellent work on this cover! 👍
I wonder if we will see any Snes covers?
He did some Sega CD covers before and those were great
Ah I see, well he could do more Snes remixes,so far they have been all genesis remixes.

What AI does he use to make these abominations? I want to make some.
Somebody needs to mod these remixes into the Sequel Wars home brew with Megaman 4-6 on it.

This remix has some serious streets of rage 2 vibes
Lee Marvin as Mega Man! ;)
