I''ve watched again the vid, and I realised that at 6:31 there was a way for you. You could have splitted on "8"! You wait it starts to merge (or not), and then you split. I'm pretty sure you can eat it all. But of course that's the kind of thing you see on video, but not always while playing. Keep recording, I'm pretty sure you'll make the perfect turnaround soon :).
+JP on Agario dont think so. The small piece will be fed to 8, making 8 large enough to not be split killed. And there are blue teammates all around too.
