I like having another option for chenille yarn, especially since Parfait Chunky seems to be sold out of half their colors at the moment. And is Honey Bunny coming back? Is it Toucan now? So many yarns to keep up with! Thank you for making videos like this. YarnTube is my source for new info and my crafting time is limited so I really appreciate videos that keep me up on yarn happenings.
The new setup is great! It looks and sounds wonderful. Thank you for the review of this new yarn! I will definitely give it a try, maybe it won't fight me with sewing as much as Parfait Chunky likes to sometimes.
Allison, FYI... in the description for the Baby Bear yarn, Joanns said... "#5 Bulky (Packaging will say #6 Super Bulky this is incorrect)" So you were spot on! Five Bulky is a much better description.

Thanks for the review! It’s nice to hear it’s close to parfait chunky but less sheddy. They only had two striped colors when I last went to Joann’s, but they had a bunch of boxes outside the yarn isle, so I wonder if they were stocking it?

Thanks so much for the info. I really hope that Joanns' restructures properly, so they can stick around for years to come. Right now, they are taking the company private to protect themselves from the stock short sellers. They took the company from $17 a share to .28 cents a share. Disgusting! Supposedly, 95% of their stores are in profit. So, let's keep our fingers crossed.
Definitely will try to get a couple of colors in this yarn. Sweet snuggles is sooo hard for me to sew with and I hate it. The microphone sounded funny to me, like the sound wasn’t totally clear and was a bit robotic?

Yes that makes much more sense! I believe they made the same mistake with big twist posh and the yarn weight too

Yes I agree! Have you looked at Hobbii Toucan yarn? They have many more colors in stock

i found a chenille yarn in my country that doesn't shed. The only 'problem' would be the only colors they offer are pastel ones.
