OMG!! i was making the mistake of pulling it all the way down like you mentioned because im so used to doing it with the fishing wire & i would see the 260 wasting so fast and now i know i dont need to pull it all the way down! THANK YOUSO MUCH FOR EXPLAINING!!😭😭
This is how I construct my garlands but you see how he made that cluster of balloons? I just add another cluster like that and connect the two clusters together with 260s or I interlock the ends of the two separate clusters together with one balloon (like you would do if you were making quads).
Finishing line is ok to use if you aren’t pulling the balloons extremely tight. I’ve use fishing time as well as 260’s. It basically comes down to personal preference. I also others use yarn
