This is a recorded livestream of a playthrough of Takuma Okada's solo exploration RPG, Alone Among the Stars. David plays an adventurer who is travelling from planet to planet, observing some of the incredible flora, fauna and marvels that each has to offer.
Alone Among the Stars is a zen RPG that has the player describe features on planets based on three simple randomisation methods - a roll of the die says how many features a planet has, another roll per feature says how the player came across it, and a card draw from a standard 52-card French deck says where the feature was found and what type of thing it is. Everything else is generated by the player in the form of a travel journal.
