You’ve already recommended the EM6L to me on the Facebook page. I’ve been diligently reading reviews about it, and I’m absolutely convinced. I’m definitely going to purchase the EM6L - I’ve made up my mind!
yes those single DD simgots (DD+PR included) seems to be very easy to drive. I can power my ea500 just from static energy :D. They sounds great actually from my ampdac that I bought from aliexpress for 2 bucks, its called: CX31993 USB Type C DAC to 3.5mm Jack 16-32ohm 32b/384kHz PCM Digital Audio Converter. 😁
I made the mod for the EA5000 (as suggested by Tone Deaf Monk). Damn, the mid bass really improved--really to my liking. Tone down the treble a bit by putting a minute microfibre cloth inside the nozzle and you have a very very nice sounding IEM.
Thanks. If I know anything about Simgot by now, they have great formula ongoing so I can almost say that EA500LM shall live up to the legacy, I hope....
PR is passive radiator. Whether they work or not in IEMs is still debatable, but some companies have been trying to implement them recently. Simgot EA2000 also has a passive radiator.
Simgot is doing great things, definitely a brand to look for. I just tried and really liked EM6L, nice upgrade from EW200. Andy have you tried Ikko OH10 and OH10S, would love to see your reviews.
As noted, EA1000 is close to being neutral and transparent, so it is not specifically Mids centric, all three dynamic range being well balanced. Mid centric IEMs will be the likes of B2 or Etymotic ER2XR
If anyone was contemplating the EA1000 as an upgrade to EM6L, stick with the EM6L. I just tried the EA1000 and it’s harsh in the treble (even w/ gold nozzle), has less bass and less soundstage. EM6L for the win...
I find the EA1000's treble to be smooth and warm. I'm actually looking for a brighter and more extended treble. Judging from your response, the EM6L's treble should be terribly rolled off and not for me.
both of these sets dont have bad review from all the review i go thru, simgot reaqlly on a roll with their releases this year EA1000 look interesting but i just got hype2 so wallet need healing for a little
Hi Andy. I already own em6l. But I am looking for better midbass & bass iem for classic/hard/blues rock but not mp145 due to its size. Can you suggest few options pls? Thank you
EA1000 on top of being super easy to drive, is also exceedingly flexible with synergy too. So it will pair best practically with anything I rated as 4.0 Star and above in #donglemadness. But if I have to choose then it will be HIBY FC6 or CEntrance DACport HD as the very best with EA1000 synergy
I have tried MoonDrop Blessing 3 and Kato offline. I prefer the bass of Kato,Blessing 3 bass Too much gives me a headache and discomfort but Blessing 3 in other aspects. Due to price and takes 10-12 hours to wearconsiderations, I prefer SIMGOT EA1000, If it were non-metal, it would be perfect for me What I want to ask is, among the many headphones you have heard, are there any that have a cavity made entirely of 3D printed resin, but the tuning and price are the same as those of the SIMGOT EA1000?
Yes. You might want to check IO Volare or HISENIOR MEGA5 EST, both excellent 100% resin based IEMs. Unfortunately the price is not EA1000 region. I think you might also love LETSHUOER Cadenza 4 which impressed me a lot, also hard resin and within EA1000 price range
Hi there. For Cyber Monday Sale, I am planning to buy a budget DAC-Amp with balanced port. I am confused between: Truthear Shio and Fiio KA13 Which one should I get? (If possible can you review Fiio KA13?)
Hi you didn't talk about the passive radiator. I'm not an expert but if ea1000 has a PR that is good for a better bass then why you say em6l is better than ea1000(talking about the bass only)? My question: Is the passive radiator that will shock me in a positive way? Or is useless and they implemented it just to increase the price if the iem? I have another 2 questions: 1) Since ea1000 has low impedance, do I need also a portable dacamp? 2) if the answer is yes, is the ibasso dc03 pro(costs less than dc04 pro) a good choice? I'm afraid that since ea1000 is bright and shouty, dc03pro will make it even more shouty. Thank you.
I didn't talk about Passive Radiator (PR) because I have no idea what it was. And I think you misunderstood me on this, just because I said EM6L is for Bassheads or people who love big Bass, does not mean EA1000 is lacking with Bass quality. While EM6L has more dominance, presence and authority with Bass, EA1000 offers sublime Bass presence which is tuned to be closer to neutral target and less colored, but the quality is without a doubt among the best for that price point. It is not about quantity, it is about quality. To answer your question: 1) I did mentioned at 06:15 of my recommendation on how best to drive EA1000 2) EA1000 is not bright and shouty, not especially if you use the denser tuning nozzles, that's why Simgot give you three tuning nozzles, for people who love smoother sound as well as for people who love more crispness on the upper frequencies. And yes, DC03Pro will pair great with EA1000, a bit colored but great, DC04Pro is neutral and uncolored
@@AndyAudioVault Thanks for letting me know. There's so many options that you end up nitpicking for reasons not to buy one particular set over another.
Pairs really well of course, being the current No.1 dongle for #donglemadness, with EA1000 the sound is rich yet neutral, resolving yet analog and musical. Probably only DACport HD would be able to match that sort of performance one to one with FC6
@@AndyAudioVault Sure Andy actually I haven't seen that section, yes it will resolve my question, do you have get chance to listen ibasso dc 06 pro and ifi hip dac, does it pair good with hd660s, I am thinking to create a collection of dac of diff. sound signature.
I like your review style and very much respect your opinions, glad I found your channel. Thanks Andy.

Can't go wrong with EM6L, not because I said it, but many have found that EM6L to be an excellent and exciting IEM :D

Thank you for the review and comparisons. The EM6L seems like a very widely liked set.

Yes I have tried OH10 of course, even way too bassy for my taste especially with the overpowering Subbass. I haven't tried OH10s. Thanks!
Another great content and review Andy, is the EA1000 mid/vocal centric

These EM6L seem to be a big hit. I wonder how they would perform in comparison with Sound Rhyme SR5.
Sir Andy, what's the best budget DAC to pair with the Simgot EM6L?
iBasso DC04Pro or Shanling UA4
@@AndyAudioVault Thank you, Sir! Awesome review/comparison as always. 👍
Hi there.
For Cyber Monday Sale, I am planning to buy a budget DAC-Amp with balanced port.
I am confused between:
Truthear Shio and
Fiio KA13
Which one should I get?
(If possible can you review Fiio KA13?)
KA13 is still being tested here on my desk. Whichever one suits your budget, you get it, both of them are good dongles
hello Andy isnt you from Singapore, by chance?
No, I am in Malaysia
