  • There are approximately 2.7 million Muslims living in Italy, which amounts to about 4.9 percent of the population, a community that is being targeted by the current coalition government led by the right-wing Brothers of Italy party. They are the second largest religious group in the country after Christians, but local governments and mayors frequently impose restrictions on their right to practice their religion. This is the case in Monfalcone, a town in the Northern part of the peninsula. Our correspondent in Italy tells us more.

Muslim leaders protected christians. Example, during Saddam Hussein reign, there were 1million + christians in Irak lived peacefully.
Its USA's fault to kill Saddam and making those christians lives miserable.

Good Muslims respect the countries they are in. They respect the civil laws and women's rights. But what Europeans are seeing is an attemptive of imposing Sharia "law" (where is the whole "religion of peace"?), violence against non-Muslim, violence against women and children... people are getting scared and angry and this is why the far right is sadly gaining force. Where are the leaders of Muslim communities speaking against terrorism? Against forced marriages involving children? Against criminality? If a Catholic goes to an Arab country, they have to worship in private and obey the uses of that country, why cannot Muslims respect Christian culture in Europe? I do not have anything against Muslims only against evil people, regardless of religion.
