- Sorry for the lack of posts recently, I've been super busy with work. I appreciate y'all's patience 😀 THE FUUKA VIDEO IS ALMOST DONE! In the meantime, here's a special behind the scenes look at the recording process for the Solo Leveling English dub episode 11! We worked insanely hard on this show so I hope y'all like it!

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it is a fact that Aleks Le has the best screams in all of dub anime period. Absolute legend of his craft.

I love seeing the physicality of voice actors.
As a sound engineer for Okratron 5000 and Funi/CR I can tell you that not very many are this physical or spirited. I can guarantee that this is why he's landing so many leading parts.

most of the distortion on his screams isn't coming directly from his vocal chords so he's okay, don't worry!
his voice does get worn out, but these shouldn't be tearing his vocal chords apart since the distortion he's making is disconnected from them.
@@ren2089 I mean you can get your vocal chords exhausted like that tbh. But yeah, mostly if newbies try it, since it actually involves good techniques. Well, coughing blood is never super good though. Just need to rest well your voice from time to time tho.

So glad this series is getting the love it deserves in all forms. The Japanese and English voice actors both went so HARD.

Not gonna lie, I literally just binge watched this show last week and I absolutely love it. God bless Dubu cuz I know he's watching from high up looking down and smiling at this creation of his. Alek continues to do great voice work. Changing his voice from the first four episodes into a deeper more masculine hero is definitely TALENT, and not many can do it so congrats to him. I look forward to season two of this show and more voice work from this talented young man.

My goodness, Alexs Le’s fighting sounds-especially his screams of pain-immersed me into what the animated character was going through more than the previous mediums of the story. Webnovel/Novel. Webtoon. I’ve been reading and re-reading those mediums of Solo Leveling for over 4 years now. And the English dub of this anime has made me FEEL the hurt Jinwoo goes through more than the others.

Remember the scene in Jinwoo’s first dungeon with the snake? At one point he got *sent* into a wall and his voice cracked when he hit the wall and it’s made me truly love this voice actor and I want to know where to find more.

Sometimes adding that physicality really helps get into character! Even if it looks like we tweakin XD god I hope I can tap into a lower register because my god you and amongst other VA’s inspire me to not just do VA work but pursue my dreams. Your origin story on Trash Taste was so good I literally put it on repeat for a day straight (obviously while doing my own things). Keep up your amazing work Aleks! Alex, he has made me have a new appreciation for dubs. Before, I just randomly decided to give the dub of Mashle a chance. I was strictly subs. This guy is awesome! I'm still very much a subs guy. But anytime and everytime, I see Alex as part of the English VA cast. I'll most definitely be watching!
