Ah dang, I see that the heinous blow down over the trail is still there! Those old skid roads at the start are sure an interesting, and slippery feature...
@@brendascorah3649 I disliked the comment because that’s terrible! I was so scared crossing it, worrying about what would happen if rain come out of nowhere and intensified that flow!
i was suckin' wind just watching that climb and my mouth was watering towards the end. it was like an interactive video experience. what a beautiful place, you did a great job capturing it. thnx a heap!
What a fantastic visual experience! So many people would never be able to traverse that trail! You’ve done such a good thing for others, giving the opportunity to experience such a majestic part of the world, I can see it wasn’t easy and poor Logan looked absolutely spent! Great job guys, a strong salute! Regards Brett
New to your channel and love that you’ve taken us along. Max reminds me of my Indiana and his brother Lucky, who are chasing squirrels on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge! Thanks for sharing your beautiful adventure!
The gorgeous hike that you both did made me remember of a book i once read called the Curve of Time it’s an absolute must read by M Blanchet . Thank you for sharing and as always i love seeing the gorgeous scenery and awesome storyline that you both share .
You just made my day. I love hiking, and am trying my hardest to get out and do some sailing before I get much older.. Hope that 2022 exceeds your expectations.
That is a tough climb, my wife and I did it last year but got lost for a while on the way back. I strongly suggest that people take trail tape with them to mark their trail. The trail is constantly changing owing to slides.
waauw it was a exciting video you both made!! I love seeing this very beautiful surroundings. I am from the flat dutch country....(also beautiful but so different) Thank you for sharing it with us.
Thanks for watching! We are close to welding in our first replaced haul plate piece! We have been posting weekly updates on our Patreon (minimum membership of $1/ month to get those vids!) and will be starting to roll out the project videos in about a month, but they will be 5 months behind at the beginning.
I'm so jelly, when we hiked up there the falls were raging! There was no way we could shower or cross them. Did you read the sad news of the young man that is mentioned in the sign at the cabin? Also 2 days after we were there a man in his 50s died of a heart attack almost at the cabin and the young men (family friends) that were with him had to carry him down. Such a sad story. It is a tough trail, literally not for the feint of heart.
I tried to find more info on the cabin and the plaque there but couldn’t find much online and didn’t see any more info around the park. That’s a really sad story about the poor guy hiking. Def not an easy hike for even people in the best of shape
These 2 episodes have been 100% the best! ( love all your episodes). The details are amazing!
Thanks Kendra! I’m glad you enjoyed 😌
Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing this place with us! - Ben

So glad you hiked up and took the vids. We noticed Max enjoyed the climb. A lovely conclusion to your adventure..⛵️👍
It was the perfect conclusion 😌 thanks guys!
That was quite a hike! You could stay up there for weeks and never get tired of it!
Right?! We are hoping to head back again this year with proper overnight hiking gear and go up into the alpine!

You guys who head that way in the winter are some kind of brave! Such a sketchy trail
The 17 year old man, Liam Von Berks apparently tried to cross the falls while they were really rushing and was swept over.

Ah yes! We have that book onboard 😌 I have yet to read it but Logan has and loved it. Thanks for watching and journeying along with us 😌
I was thinking of that book durning this episode. How they got lost in the fog. Great visuals to put to this story in my mind.
@@Vepoch well I guess I’m going to be reading it this summer to catch up 😂
We thought of doing that hike but thought better of it....good for you for going. We love Princess Louisa Inlet.
It’s not an easy one! Pretty sketchy in lots of parts and would be very dangerous in the rain
Paradise!
Definitely! 😍😍
Fantastic (-:

Ooo really?!! That makes me even more excited to sail to Haida Gwaii!

That’s a good tip! It was well worn when we were there but I’m betting it will be a different story, like you’re talking about, come May
