    Ah dang, I see that the heinous blow down over the trail is still there! Those old skid roads at the start are sure an interesting, and slippery feature...

      You guys who head that way in the winter are some kind of brave! Such a sketchy trail

      The 17 year old man, Liam Von Berks apparently tried to cross the falls while they were really rushing and was swept over.

      @@brendascorah3649 I disliked the comment because that’s terrible! I was so scared crossing it, worrying about what would happen if rain come out of nowhere and intensified that flow!

    So many people would never be able to traverse that trail! You’ve done such a good thing for others, giving the opportunity to experience such a majestic part of the world, I can see it wasn’t easy and poor Logan looked absolutely spent!
    Great job guys, a strong salute!

    That is a tough climb, my wife and I did it last year but got lost for a while on the way back. I strongly suggest that people take trail tape with them to mark their trail. The trail is constantly changing owing to slides.

    I'm so jelly, when we hiked up there the falls were raging! There was no way we could shower or cross them. Did you read the sad news of the young man that is mentioned in the sign at the cabin? Also 2 days after we were there a man in his 50s died of a heart attack almost at the cabin and the young men (family friends) that were with him had to carry him down. Such a sad story. It is a tough trail, literally not for the feint of heart.

    • @WaywardLifeSailing
      @WaywardLifeSailing  2 года назад +1

      I tried to find more info on the cabin and the plaque there but couldn’t find much online and didn’t see any more info around the park. That’s a really sad story about the poor guy hiking. Def not an easy hike for even people in the best of shape
