My dad is 51 years older than me, obese, and diabetic, and I know he won’t be able to do that for me. He’s still here, but I don’t know for how long. So all I can do is make sure he knows that. 😔very bittersweet

Carrington Bybee my dad passed away at 71 yrs old, I was 15, so he was 56 years older than me he had open heart surgery when I was 4 and went into dialysis when I was 9yrd old also diabetic so I can completely understand what you are feeling and the most precious thing I can honestly say is I was gifted with the knowledge of knowing he wouldn’t last long in my life so that made me appreciate and love him harder than any daughter could ... people have their loved ones ripped away from them randomly every day so just be content and aware with your dad and love him harder for the simple fact that you know he won’t last forever much more longer than expected so hugs to you and your dad hope he is doing well for now and much more ❤️💜
lol the song isn’t about her dad being jealous. it’s about the “First Man” which is her father that loved her and how she’s moving on to another man. she’s telling her dad about the man she’s in love with but she’s showing him her appreciation bc her dad is the first man that loved her and how he taught her everything and he did everything for her.

This song got leaked about a year or 2 ago and I heard he found it and listened and cried and this was the first time she ever performed it to him and to anyone.
