FYI 😀 That is a dummy bell box you have there. The "real" one had a "movable plate" and a micro switch. (Yours has neither) At the time it was common for burglars to squirt expanding foam into the external bell box before breaking in. The "movable plate" yours had was designed to lift up when expanding foam was injected in from the bottom, the "problem" was if the burglars drilled a hole in the top front to inject foam, it would still achieve its objective AND it would NOT move the "movable plate" (It held the movable plate in place) Also, the logic 4 panel you have, when it came out only cost £19.95, where as other panels were starting around £50 The idea of part and full set was so that you could part or full set the alarm. It was common to have the front door as Exit/Entry zone, zone 1 would be the main room, zone 2 would be the landing. When leaving the house it would be set to Full set, and when going to bed it would be Part set. So at night the alarm is on, but you go upstairs and walk about on the landing without setting off the alarm. 😀
