    In general, wind speeds are as follows: 8 kph (2 m/s) minimum is required to start rotating most small wind turbines. 12.6 kph (3.5 m/s) is the typical cut-in speed, when a small turbine starts generating power. 36-54 kph (10-15 m/s) produces maximum generation power.

    At 90 kph (25 m/s) maximum, the turbine is stopped or braked (cut-out speed).Answer for ur minimum speed for a small turbines. Do I win anything?

    С такими лопастями ветродвигатель малооборотестый. Для генератора нужны обороты побольше. Для ветрогенераторов надо применять пропелерные ветродвигатели. Они дают более высокие обороты. А потом ещё повышающую передачу. Я когда-то читал в нашей местной газете за нашего земляка. Он сделал Ветряк с класическими крыльями. Ветроколесо у него было в диаметре 6 метров. Для этого он построил мачту с железных труб и угольников высотой 15 метров. Под хороший ветер со скоростью 5 - 6 метров в секунду этот ветряк выдавал мощность до 6 киловатт. С помощью механических передач он вращал свои крупорушки, циркулярку, небольшую мельничку, заряжал автомобильные аккумуляторы. Генератора под 220 вольт у него не было в то время.

    a universal motor has a field coils in series with the armature ,to reverse the armature also reverses the field coils polarity so it will run on dc or ac.

    Run DC motor by using hydraulic and spring so we give our power to hydraulic and it will winding up the spring which turned the dynamo and electricity can cook our food by microwave oven with DC voltage ?

    como ele acendeu uma lâmpada de 220 volts se o gerador é de 12 e 24 volts ,estou sem entender .
    Pela lampada ser de 100wats tudo bem,o gerador é de 400 wats. Só quero entender a parte da voltagem! estranho!

    Whenever you convert ac to dc, the dc output voltage will be equal to dc 33% more than the ac voltage, the higher current is due to the high value of the filter capacitor

    It was a very nice video. Sir in your video you have used the pvc pipes exactly vertically for propeller, what happens if they were to be tilted a little bit say like 30 to 45 degrees? Is it possible that even with low wind power the propellers move faster?

      This can be possible by considering two things... U can install gear wheels, so at low wind, shaft will move fast, and also remember to apply a good bearings. The same things are used in actual wind plants.

      dibakar dutta :: I thought 8 vanes plus your tilting idea of so many degrees plus a ‘tail~vane’ to orientate the propeller into ‘facing’ the wind. Would you tilt towards the shaft or @ the tangent or rotate the concave surface area of the pvc vane while keeping it vertical. It is quite the puzzle and I am interested in your ideas.

      Atul Kumar Rai : to use a thrust bearing or other genuine bearing that the Maker didn’t have to sweat and pound into the hub would improve the rpm’s...imo

    Now use Wheel bearings of a car to suspend the Wind actuator, connect a bigger V shaped wheel below and use a cars belt or a bigger one to drive the generator.
    Then you can even drive more than only one generator at the same time. For example 2, 3 or more generators from old cars.

    Look at the shaft wobble on that wind turbine and you crazy with that welder looks like it's on full blast 😭 they need a clutch system so it can rotate freely

      Well, you have to consider the welding amps needed to blast through years of rust. With enough power (say 150 amps) you don't have to scrape, sand, wire-brush, or even chew any debris from the metal surface before welding.
      Of course the quality and strength of the welds are pathetic, and dangerous for that matter. But, this is a part of the world where quality is uncommon, and life is cheap.

      That's a Mustool Multimeter Oscilloscope type.

      The sort that measures voltage current and resistance, reasonably accurately (last part optional for this purpose) One excellent electrical experiment I'd advise to anyone at your point in the educational path is to try typing the words multimeter price delivery into a search engine and then pushing the return key. It's amazing how much can be learnt from the simplest of exercises :-)

    I know this is a few years late but I did not see right away the answer to one of your question. And that is who invented the first alternator (also called at the time of invention an AC generator) And that would be Nicola Tesla.
