The discount from support Temple offsets the additional cost of getting it if you're going for a Vengeful Monkey. Massive discounts to Tech Terror, the Legend, and of course the True Sun God and the temple that comes before. Just remember not to get range on your main Supermonkey until you've got the sacs. Edit: whoops, ISAB already explains this later in the video.
Man, I REALLY like your explanation vids. Like, challenge runs and strat showcases are fun, but your informative content is spot on. The explanation was solid, the data was (overly) scientific, and I got better at the game just watching. I don't know if these videos do well in the algorithm, but if they're feasible, I would love more of this.
@@sapphire--9375 Max sacrifices is 3/4 for t4 temple and 4/4 for t5 temple. Due to it only being 3/4 categories for t4, there are 4 different vtsgs, each forgoing a second sacrifice in one category. Double support is very important without another t4 support temple because it double buffs the mini avatars, and as seen in the video, that buff is very important for total dps.

The t4 temple's support sacrifice is one type, seen on other towers as a sun temple icon. The t5 buff is seen on other towers as a tsg icon. If you skip support at t4, your 2221 vtsg will only give the tsg buff. The sun temple buff can then be stacked on by a separate xxx1 t4 temple.
I'm surprised by the fact that it beats military in the damage test. Even if it was a bit weaker, I would still say support is better because it also 1. generates a lot of money 2. provides a huge, unique discount 3. buffs everything else significantly
Fun fact: If you have a support temple being buffed by level 20 Adora active and epic range, you can easily cover the entire map with just a single support temple. Adora is super fun for freeplay shennanigans.
I like informational videos like this because although I’ve been playing Bloons TD6 since global release, I haven’t grasped what temple sacrifices do and what combos to sacrifice.

Fun fact if you use pat fusty ability on a moab right when it pops you can 'create' more bloons. Though i dont think they patched it but they probally didnt since its a really secret bug. And i think its a frame perfect glitch.

I feel like it's critically important to do this test with 10 ultraboost stacks + overclock because you'll always go for it on a Vengeful, military benefits from it and magic avatars don't. Either way good video and I agree support is underrated but probably not better than military if all you want is max dps out of a fully buffed Vengeful
exactly. In basically all late-game scenarios you will have ultraboost, and ever since NK put a cap on the # of avatars spawned magic isn't quite as good.
So, whilst you are correct about the magic avatars not inheriting the ultraboost stacks, you are forgetting something, which is that Vengeful gives a 2× damage buff to all sub spawns, applied after additive damage buffs. Which means a double support, which gives plus 4 damage to each avatar projectile, suddenly becomes a +8buff. Which is significantly more than a +4 buff from single support. And the mini sun avatars are far stronger than military planes, so, whilst the overclock buff might level the playingfield somewhat, i really doubt that it will actually outdo the extra support buff. But that is only without a second support temple.

Isn’t the spectre thing related to cost? Cos it said spectre 1 and spectre 2 but for the primarysacrifices 1 and 2 referenced the type of projectile depending on money spent, so I’d imagine that the stats for spectres were for money spent
As shown at 2:33 you get 1 specter 1 and 1 specter 2 for 50k in military. Meanwhile 50k of primary gives you the strongest levels of the blades and glaives.

if u are making a vtsg (vengeful true sun god) it has its own support buff unlike the normal true sun god which has both the 400 support buff and the 500 buff so that should be taken into consideration before choosing ur sacrifices
One thing possibly missed is that VTSG gets extra special bonuses for all categories except Support. That's probably another factor to why many go for a 2221 VTSG and a Support Temple. Me? I only normally summon it with boss guides, so whatever the video-maker does, I will do too.

Bro a strategy I use is 3 1-0-0 banana farms into 3 2-0-0 then upgrade to banks and rubber to gold after first banks collect then just factory spam till the 50's then jungles bounty at round 68 just sell and VTSG

It would be interesting to see how much impact it will have. 2) I can't really judge how good the military "projectile size" buff is and how much impact it has on the overall DPS. Doesn't a larger projectile size means that more bloons will be hit by the same projectile? Isn't that similar to a splash dmg effect then? If so, then I wouldn't underestimate the impact of such buff in super late rounds when bloons fills up the screen.

Something I just want to ask is with VTSG 2122 you get the black buff icon and when getting another support temple it gives the t4 temple buff as well as the VTSG buff on nerby towers Does this mean you can stack 3 temple buffs onto towers? 2 from the VTSG and 1 from the sun temple?
No, if your vtsg has double support sac temple buff will not do anything, However, if you have vtsg with one support sac and then a support temple, those will stack together
"The meta" of this game is interesting, but at the same time it feels impossible to break it and have fun at the same time. I remember in BTD4 I was obsessed with getting as many farms and supers as possible. I showed my uncle the game and he surpassed my highest level easily using only tack shooters and villages. Now i'm frustrated because if you dont use "the meta" i.e. supers, you have a major disadvantage around 200 because obviously the most expensive towers are going to be the most effective.
I never actually saw the glaives and blades before, I think I kept on skipping primary on accident when I kept on getting the most expensive tower for each category (in editor of coarse) But I was wondering is the point of the true sun god is to get something like the 2-1-1-2 or something like that Never mind just got to that point
According to my testing, military sacrifice is only half as strong as the temple base attack (0-0-0-0 temple). Considering that every tower you can sacrifice is usually stronger than the temple base attack...well... Also, magic sacrifice creates alot of lag, I wonder if 1-0-0-1 temple spam is a good strategy for lategame records
I skip support so that the temple's range doesn't increase and eat up (by sacrificing) too much map space early, when I get it up to a vtsg, I'll buff vtsg with a support temple tho

For bloonarius the support temple rush strat is so good. You make money, get cheaper farms, and make the main temple so much cheaper.

i prefer having a couple temples with support to reach across the whole map then use the rest of my temples for pure damage

Military doesn’t add enough DPS to be worth it, and Support buffs synergise well with Sun Temple buffs
Only time it's worth it is a vengeful, cause that doesn't increase the support buff

I always went with military because of the spectres, but that's just because the spectre is my favorite plane path. I am addicted to the spectre.
I always get a 2122 vengfull in a spot with almost full map range, but get military for the temples in the corners.
I buy temple 0011(410) first, and then put the super monkey in its radius, making the temple update(400 and 500) and super monkey 005 cheaper

You just start memorizing the sell cost break points and it gets pretty straightforward even with discounts

Something I just want to ask is with VTSG 2122 you get the black buff icon and when getting another support temple it gives the t4 temple buff as well as the VTSG buff on nerby towers
Does this mean you can stack 3 temple buffs onto towers?

No, if your vtsg has double support sac temple buff will not do anything,
However, if you have vtsg with one support sac and then a support temple, those will stack together

"The meta" of this game is interesting, but at the same time it feels impossible to break it and have fun at the same time.
I remember in BTD4 I was obsessed with getting as many farms and supers as possible. I showed my uncle the game and he surpassed my highest level easily using only tack shooters and villages. Now i'm frustrated because if you dont use "the meta" i.e. supers, you have a major disadvantage around 200 because obviously the most expensive towers are going to be the most effective.
It is a rigid meta isn't it? I personally want more kinds of tower buffs & DoTs, also the undead bloons from battd.
I never actually saw the glaives and blades before, I think I kept on skipping primary on accident when I kept on getting the most expensive tower for each category (in editor of coarse)
But I was wondering is the point of the true sun god is to get something like the 2-1-1-2 or something like that

According to my testing, military sacrifice is only half as strong as the temple base attack (0-0-0-0 temple). Considering that every tower you can sacrifice is usually stronger than the temple base attack...well...
Also, magic sacrifice creates alot of lag, I wonder if 1-0-0-1 temple spam is a good strategy for lategame records

I skip support so that the temple's range doesn't increase and eat up (by sacrificing) too much map space early, when I get it up to a vtsg, I'll buff vtsg with a support temple tho
