  • This video is dedicated to my biggest fan. I may have bought it from Harbor Freight but it's always been there for me on the hottest of days. Now that it's got wheels were going to rolling in style on RUclips. Watch as I make my life a lot easier by adding casters to my pedestal fan.

Great idea. I try to move mine around all the time and I have no idea why I didn't think of this.

Makes life so much easier having wheels on it. This fan is a life saver on hot days. Definitely a great upgrade.

Nice video. Is the fan too strong and noisy to put in the living room?

Might be a little to much for in home use. It kicks up a lot of noise even on the lowest setting. I have a TV in the garage I connect to Wi-Fi and if the volume isn't up I can barely hear it.

Hey, I just bought this fan today and got it put together. After about 30 min of running, the motor casing is hot enough to burn your hand. With it throwing off that much heat, the fan feels like it's blowing hot air. I can't imagine this would be normal. How cool does yours run?

Yeah... something isn't right inside the motor. Something is causing some sort of friction while the motor is running. I can run my fan all day and still rest my hand on the back where the pull chain hangs down. It's a bummer cause I know how awkward and heavy these fans are to carry. Essentially with the base that's why I slapped wheels on mine. If I were you, I'd definitely take it back. The fan if faulty could catch fire.

@@delawarediydad that's what I was afraid of. I'll probably just use the 90 day warranty and have them send me a new motor. Either that, or I'll just buy another one and replace the motor myself, then return the unassembled one

Got my fan this week and mine is hot to touch while running in low speed for about 15 min. Did you return yours and was the replacement good?
