Fascinating place, Rob. To me, it's always so sad to see buildings boarded up and shut down, never to be used again. I always wish someone with the money and vision would rebuild and reopen for today's generations to enjoy.
Love our little adventure 👍. Wish we could have gone in it. I love exploring old abandoned buildings. Damm! You have another Damm meeting at the Dam Damm it!.... LOL 🤣 😂 🤣 😂 🤣. Say hi to Dotti and George 🐾🐾
Rob! You now qualify for Intrepid Reporter status! Take care on those mountain roads but thank you for some really great views of such an interesting piece of history.
Well done Rob. It's a fascinating place. I was looking on line as well and the information is elusive. I also wonder who actually did the original construction, if it was local or builders from out of town? Once again like the hotel with Elizabeth the ghost in town, more questions than answers! ☮️💜
You could FOIA the information at the county building possibly. Could do a crowdfunding campaign, probably cost up to 4 million to do a complete rehab. I have seen that place in a picture of a construction company I work for in Albuquerque which has built almost half of Albuquerque starting at the beginning of Albuquerque. Bradbury & Stamm. 1) The designed by Martin Bormann. 2) Possibly The new Owner Rachel Wexler.

What a great find! History is everywhere around us. Thanks again for a great video.

You would love traveling route 66. I don't know if you have yet, but there is so much history.
Museum conducted tours and did extensive research on the lodge last year. There were a cast of characters that stayed there.
If it has an address you might be able to look up publicly available information like taxes. Dont know how NM handles access to that information.
