I have stood my ground when needed, and I give freely to those people who are much less fortunate than myself. I am on disability, but I would rather be helpful than to turn away from another person if I am able to help. Most people don't understand why I am so willing to be a giver, not a taker. Because I am a strong, independent woman who is very observant, and I have compassion and empathy for others.
