Another inconvenience is they fall asleep after 20 minutes of silence. You manually have to turn them on. They just don’t wake up on their own. Adam Audio said they will release a future firmware to address the issue.
@@EverydayElectronics23 That’s what I have to do now. Tap the volume control knob to wake them up. It’s a work around but not a solution. I shouldn’t need to check if my speakers are on if I don’t want to miss audio alerts. I’ll send them back if Adam doesn’t fix before my return window closes.
@ognyankoynashki OK thanks I'm gonna buy these and hook them up because I'm tired of the small speakers that come with them. I don't wanna bust those small speakers, lol
Hi, thanks for the video. I have a question like this. I own an Iloud Micro Monitor. I'm wondering if I should replace them with Adam? Are they better? Sound quality, bass?
I love ribbon tweeters. So I’m going to say the Adam Audios will be better. They will also have better bass. Thanks for watching. Please consider subscribing if you haven’t already.
Sorry to step in. To add, I have both and still settling the D3Vs. They do have more bass but the micros give more "sparkle" on the high ends like cymbals and the fast punchy mid bass. It's weird as I was expecting this more of the high ends on the ribbon tweeters. Don't get me wrong the details on the D3V are very good. I's just the micros has this different presentation. But if bass is the bottom line D3Vs are it. They are also fairly bigger than the Micros.
@@josebarron4626 Thanks for the reply, because I'm currently contemplating whether to buy or not. Overall I am happy with the performance of the Micros. The only thing is that the volume is not quite sure, as the phase-inverter starts to make sounds not quite pleasant to the ear, but I'm happy with the detail, bass in general is also not bad for such a small size. And it's convenient that you can connect from your phone via bluetooth and play music in the background. Adam is a different sound ? It's more hi-fi?
I would also add that I would like bass throughout the entire volume range. But I realize that the Micros are too small, and when you turn them on at 70-80% volume, the bass is lost
oh man I had certain budget for my new workstation (day trade i do) with a new macbook and a pair of speakers/studio monitors. I went to microcenter and the new macbooks had 10% discount... the model I had in mind was cheaper so silly me went for the superior model... well after taxes I had consumed part of my speaker budget! I wanted to buy the KEF LSR II LT, but now I will have to buy these. I hope they sound good. I was so pumped for the KEFs...
Sorry to hear that. These speakers really are great. I have Kef speakers in my Dolby setup and still like these slot. Please consider using my Amazon link if you do purchase. Thanks for the support have a great day!

Did they say when it would be released? I was going to buy them immediately until I saw the standby issue. That's a complete dealbreaker for me.
@ThePCForever they’re already out. The standby is solved by tapping the volume knob once. No big deal for such a great speaker.

@@ronalcasid3844 i read that will be an update that will fix this problem
我已經有了ILOUD MICRO MONITOR,在想該換ILOUD MICRO MONITOR PRO 還是 ADAM AUDIO D3V,可否給我意見.謝謝
is it any good or bad than Kali Audio LP-UNF 4.5 ? did anyone compare those 2
I don’t have those speakers to compare, Sorry!
Do these automatically go into standby mode with inactivity over time? Thinking of these, iLoud micro's, etc...?
They go into standby but all you do is tap the knob on main speaker and it wakes right up. Not a big deal. The bass and clarity on these is great.
Sounds Good!!!! what camera are you using?
I use DJI pocket 3 for b roll and sometimes headshots with Sony zve10
@@EverydayElectronics23 Thanks!!!! looks Clean
So I can hook these up to my MPC live 2?
As long as it has type c or trs plugs.
@@EverydayElectronics23 I'll check when I get home thanks
@@baybizzle84 It will work also unbalanced with TS jacks.

@guccih446 yes Adam is more full sounding. The tweeters are known for clear sound.
