  • This was a university assignment in 2016 - to compose a score to an existing film clip without removing the original soundtrack. My score consists of the clarinet-cello duet at the beginning and the mixed-voice chorus singing "Agnus Dei" after the bat-flying scene. I have also overlaid a solo cello melody on top of the existing 3-male chant during the flying-bat scene.
    Plot:
Nina the heroine sacrifices herself to destroy Nosferatu the vampire - by letting him suck her blood, thus distracting him from the first light of the day, marked by the cry of cock, which effectively kills him.
Big thanks to Amy Carrick (clarinet), Daniel Springate (cello), Annie Bolt (soprano, mezzo-soprano, contra-alto), Lucas Ferguson (counter-tenor, baritone), and myself (bass) for making this possible. Lastly, my greatest gratitude goes to Dr Kevin Malone for his guidance and inspiration.
