Thanks again for the video.....Gluing the rubber to the sprocket was a good idea (glue together, clamp a flat board on it, so it dries flat & even) Looks like it'd help keep the sprocket mounted more even. The 10G spokes instead of 12G was a nice bonus. I'm hoping I can find/buy just the F&R hubs that are on those wheels for cheap. I found a pair of old Schwinn 29in double wall steel wheels in the trash. I wanna get a set of those hubs & some 10 or 12G spokes & build a set of heavy duty 29in wheels. They'll be stronger & safer than my current 29in wheels.
nice mod idea on attaching the disk to the sprocket. I have a Schwinn OCC Chopper bike with an engine and I am going to try that idea first as I think it bolted directly to the sprocket gives the best control plus I can stay with the stock wheel. I may upgrade the spokes though...good idea.
Mr Kevin another informative video I used one of them aluminum screw on and you bolt on the rotor I did like you and drilled it out and used it as a spacer I have a question for you I'm going to attempt to rebuild my clutch basket bearing should I use G25 chrome bearings or stainless steel I heard that the stainless steel can handle the heat just not a big load and the G25 chrome bearings can handle a load just not as much heat about 300 F. Where the stainless steel is close to 550F this clutch basket is on my minaralli build your opinion sir
