Hey Granny! Yeah, we have been wanting to do more content about our farm and story, but life gets too full sometimes. Hopefully I can create some momentum here and keep it going!

Hey Blake, it's lovely to see you again. Wow the 3 year old compost looks great!

Thank you Liz. Those large piles that are years old are wonderful resources here on the farm! I start a new pile just about every year, so hopefully this will be a regular ongoing resource.

I am washing and grinding up my egg shells because of a video of yours from way back. Every Spring I have a big jar of calcium rich egg shells to add to my garden. Thanks, and well done on your compost.

We still do that too! Sometimes we get busy, so we just toss the entire shells into the compost.

It’s rare but when I see the Kirbota in action, it’s a good day.
I just throw as much as I can brown and green into a bin a built and let it go for 6 months turning it a couple times and by the spring planting or fall planting I’ve got it good enough to spread on the garden and let it finish composting there, if not soil it helps retain moisture until it breaks down. Thanks

Haha, thanks Matthew. I was thinking about you when I started recording the video of the little orange tractor. Thanks for sharing your compost routine as well!

We are doing well. Luke has been the center of attention for a while now due to some medical concerns, but all in all... not much to complain about. Thank you.

It's running well, but I recently broke the plastic engine guard. In this video I'm running it without it.
