    One of most the best gigs I have ever seen was when you played at Tavastia club in Helsinki.
    If recall correctly it was 1997. There was perhaps 40 people at audience. So, I had a chance to be in front with my friend and I kept my beer pint on the stage. So, I could follow up everything precisely in close distance 😊 I remember how my beer was wobbling and about to spill over due to ultra-low bass lines that Jens played with Keyboards. I would love if you and Jens could do similar album as Heavy machinery which is such great album!

    This guy is awesome... I love his work with Stratovarius, but I kinda miss this fusion projects in which he proves he's the best on Earth.

    My idol! I love his ability to play other genres than metal... and the expression he puts into every solo.

    Plus if one wants to rate them, Rudess is definitely not better :)

      Rudess is unhuman and really untouchable but he lacks what jens has.song writing that has strong melodies and will stand the test of time.

    people have to realize that he is a trained jazz player, dont expect neo classical shred from him all the time

    I'm sick of people who constantly say shit like "Ruddess is better, Ruddess is better" The same shit happens when you go to Hiromi Uehara clips. WHO GIVES A SHIT? These are musicians playing music, not athletes. Keep your personal ratings to your self because I'm sick of it!

    @hstanicus oh cmon j Ruddess do not oriented much on classical music he use progessive keyboarding and of cause jazzy elements you heared much classical elements in DT no yeah but for sure jens johansson is the best keyboarder and he has more experience in music than Rudess but i like both btw Rudess do solo albums too

  • @ParadoxicalAxiom
    @ParadoxicalAxiom 17 лет назад +3

    Jordan Rudess, while he doesn't play neo-classical jazz-influenced material, is still the more animate and creative player, if you ask me.

  • @sevencircles1638
    @sevencircles1638 16 лет назад +2

    he is a selftaught jazzplayer actually
    agree with Ange1234.
    Jordan Rudess is no Jens Johansson and Jens is no Jordan
    Jordan is better the Jens at some stuff while Jens is better at other things (like not overusing slides and overspeeding)
