HKUST GBUS Video Series 2023-24 Chapter 1 / Jaeook Lee /

Embarking the start of a brand new academic year, we are honored to have Jaeook Lee from the class of 2018 in our first chapter of the Alumni series 2023-2024.
Founding the promising start-up Sooldamhwa back in August 2018, Jaeook was determined to transform the Korean drinking culture to be more conversational and meaningful. Being selected as ‘Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2023’ and the US 6 million worth of revenue of Sooldamhwa in 2022 indicate Jaeook’s success as an aspiring entrepreneur.
During Jaeook’s study at GBUS, he truly valued the importance of encountering various case studies. It provides valuable experience to tackle real-life business challenges before establishing his start-up as a fresh graduate. Giving insightful advice to future entrepreneurs, Jaeook would continue his path of developing Sooldamhwa and play the role of a successful entrepreneur.
