Delighted for you Mike, It was great to see her moving, can't wait to see the rest of the process on her and the other wagon, both are seriously keepers.
You did an amazing job getting it to this point. You should be very proud of your accomplishment. I'm sure these videos are going very very well and keep it going!!!! Congratulations!!!
Looks like the rear suspension might use the brake bombs (accumulators) for leveling and when they go bad they typically bounce the rear end all over the place. Pretty easy to change and not too expensive.
Mike , I noticed that when you started the wagon the oil pressure gauge went right to the top at 3 bar before the engine started ! might want to check that out
Great work mike. The fact the rev counter was bouncing when you were cracking it means the crank sensor worked so had done a good job with that. And my theory on the fuel pump relay perhaps you have a bad fuel filter so the pumps are struggling and drawing more current hence the relay being hot and the pumps noisy
Congratulations MWM!l That was a lot of repair of damaged wiring harnesses. I wasn’t sure if you could fix it yourself, but you once again amazed me! Very cool. Peace, DrRick
Awesome video Mikey, I was just smiling ear to ear on that ride around the block. Lola the second technician looked majestic on the back seat. Man that wagon is quiet. When you sort the self levelling hydraulics on the rear suspension you'll be impressed by the superb ride. Can't wait 'till you give the old girl a good clean up. 👍❤😎
Hi Mike I think these wagons are really nice and yes cool too I wished I could find one seriously you a Loyla had a great ride there will be some little fixies amazing working job on the car so cool you have a great day and enjoy the day and week super video😊
I owned the 96 E320 for years and I can tell that the valve train noise you get is _not_ healthy at all. The engine is supposed to be butter smooth and hum with no mechanical noise. It actually doesn't even sound like a normal engine, it just hums. Only when you floor it and at upper revs it starts growling a bit. If there is any engine vibration you still have one cylinder missing. I had a similar issue at 200k miles and it was the spark plug noise suppressor in cyl 1.
I guess this is a win for getting it started and running. Parts seem to be hard to get but hopefully you'll be able to follow through to the finish line.
I would get that electrical connector and wiring you had trouble with from any and all 1995 Mercedes Benz's. You're bound to find a good used one! That's a nice Station Wagon/Estate.
I just literally watched the other 2 latest videos on these. Love these since i own two, hope you'll find a s124 with a diesel engine and a manual tranny😊
Good job Mike!! I been helping a friend with a 97 Pontiac, it’s been a bit of a bear to work on, so I feel ya when it feels like taking steps back. Where’s the other duck???
You know? Several years ago there was an infomercial that was selling these abrasive things that you put in place of your pads and they would resurface your rotors, I thought it was a pretty cool idea and would prob be perfect for your wagon in its current state, or any car that sits for an extended period of time. Love the video Mike!
Good job Mike I can’t believe you brought that back to life. Love your videos keep them coming. Oh and please don’t tell me you are down to only one duck 🦆
Y’all might want to keep a trap or two inside the hood to make sure you don’t have RatWagon 2: The Wrath of Mouse 😂
I watched the whole video waiting for another rat to jump out. I agree keep the traps.
100 percent there are more in that car
Lola lol loves rides in the car
You got that other part from the other one and she starts.👍😊
Yayyy👍
Lola sure loves her Dad, she has such a fantastic personality. I can sure see the love ❤❤❤
When I first watched this channel I thought that’s an unusual dog and now Lola is one of my favorite parts.
Lola sure likes to go riding 😊👍
Delighted for you Mike, It was great to see her moving, can't wait to see the rest of the process on her and the other wagon, both are seriously keepers.

Congratulations!!!
Hellow Mike an Lola good to see you both good luck with benx
soooooo happy for you mike you got it running very good job keep it up mike and lola she is so sweet
Mike you're awesome
The orange running lights in front come on w headlights per regulation so left front is either blown baulb or bad wiring right front is perfectly fine
Sounds good Mike . Another job Lola did well . 😊
The Duck's helped.
@@edwardmartinez9459 Those ducks are quaks.
Awesome job Mike !! It’s ALIVE !!!! Just a little more work and she’ll be looking incredible again.
She sounds just fine. 😊👍
Yes sir. Let's go for a ride 😁
Silicone spray (not WD40) on the lower inside of the windows where it meets the felt will make those windows move much easier going up and down.
@21:54 Okay, this car doesn't like "peasant fuel". 😉
Looks like the rear suspension might use the brake bombs (accumulators) for leveling and when they go bad they typically bounce the rear end all over the place. Pretty easy to change and not too expensive.
Good morning sir. Good to see you again 😊👍
Mike , I noticed that when you started the wagon the oil pressure gauge went right to the top at 3 bar before the engine started ! might want to check that out

Also on the oil light my guess it is probably a wiring issue if you notice the pressure gauge pegs immediately before you even start the car
Great info. Thanks!!
That duck quacks me up.
Mike, you've done one outstanding job on the rat 124 benz.
Congrats on getting the "Deliverance" Wagon started and running!!!! If you find a Banjo in the "Boot" run!!!!!!!! lol.
She is still looking fabulous and with your expertise she will be back on the road in no time 👍
Great video and work🔥👏
Great job Mike!
Great job mike that's a big win regards wayne
I think she will drive just fine 😊

I love your dog!! She has the best demeanor!!
Very happy for you Mike, Sharing the Video 😁
Congrats!🎉
Good work mike!
Good job Mike 😎😎👍👍persistent paid off!!
Be safe and be careful 😊👍🙏
Yea great job
I’ve had great success with a vacuum bleeder that used compressed air to suck out the fluid rather than apply pressure at the master cylinder.
Congratulations MWM!l
That was a lot of repair of damaged wiring harnesses. I wasn’t sure if you could fix it yourself, but you once again amazed me!
Very cool.
Peace,
DrRick

Great job. Love this car.
well done
You did a great job on the soldering and it will last
runs great mike you are a great wrench
That rattle 😂😂!! It is that type of car! Keep it up Mike 😂
Another great video
Nice to see that wagon community im also building a t124 with m120 v12 engine
Valve tap can be the oil rail used to drip oil onto cam lobes.
They get gummed up and may not be flowing enough to keep up with lifters.
Maybe a good oil change would have some Mobil 1 synthetic and a nice filter from wix might help it?
Nice work Mike, it is good that you can change parts from one Mercedes to the other to fix the problem 🤗
Bravo !!! Its good that you persisted and got success !! Good for you !!
Hi Mike I think these wagons are really nice and yes cool too I wished I could find one seriously you a Loyla had a great ride there will be some little fixies amazing working job on the car so cool you have a great day and enjoy the day and week super video😊
Awesome. Nice job on getting it running again. Keep up the great work.
Just randomly watching the video and was like that building is familiar.... then you drive right by my brothers house lol.
Congratulations Mike, you legend!
Great job Mike! Glad you got er runnin again.
so happy you got her running and driving! look forward to more.
Alright work in progress but great job Mike
Looks like you had a Great Day Mike. Glad to see the Rat Wagon going down the road under her own power.

Excellent job Mike!
Mike is the Disco Inferno still smoldering?
Curious if you got it going
Mike. Just fixed my 96 E320. Check if the fuel fitting allow gas to go to the fuel rail. Sounds like fuel starvation

I've got to ask what's up with the bad ticking?
Wild guess at 21: sediment from the tank may have gotten to the pump
Hey Mike
Nice
Awesome job Mike, love watching you and Lola bring back these wonderful gems!....Much love stay up and free brother......✨️💥👋
Congratulations 🎉on your success to make that estate runs smoothly....welldone
Way to go Mike 👍
try replacing the SLS spheres if the suspension is hard
Great job mike. Im poud of you. You make it❤💯👍💪
YEAH ! 🎉
Mike you did it you're the man can't wait to see more of this car
I just literally watched the other 2 latest videos on these. Love these since i own two, hope you'll find a s124 with a diesel engine and a manual tranny😊
What did you move to Ck trans fluid??
Good job Mike!!
I been helping a friend with a 97 Pontiac, it’s been a bit of a bear to work on, so I feel ya when it feels like taking steps back.
Where’s the other duck???
You should join the power tour using the white benz
Keep it up Mike !
My 300TD is so much cooler. No, it's not. Great video Mike!
Yours is amazing!
Benzo cracks me up 😂
Congrats Mike! That is so cool! Your Copilot Lola sure enjoyed the ride!
I can't wait for the next video on the Rat Wagon!
You may need to check the wiring behind the dash with a mirror to make sure it's not chewed up.
Your the Mercedes whisperer
