I started learning NX by myself this August, and by now I am putting windage in molded radiator grilles. My files are mess, but technically correct. Your assembly play list is what I need at this point in my training. I have to say, there are few smart guys doing this on RUclips, some doing NX for the sake of NX, others using it as a tool to build the products of their trade, and a small number just because they can. You are a wonderful blend of the three categories! Thank you for doing this! PS: Love your AI bot sense of humor... "mother visiting" - priceless!
For such wonderful comments I love my work (hobby). Thank you! Yes, I can't turn off my sense of humor, so I can make my AI speakers sound a little more natural.
Super useful! Thanks very much! Just an additional point - I noticed that the "save to file" option ISN'T available when opening the Assembly Load Options from WITHIN the Open->Options dialog box, only when you open the Assembly Load Options from the toolbar during the program launch screen. Strange that both dialog boxes are called "Assembly Load Options", but one has missing Save to File button.
Create an environment variable in Windows. The name of the variable is UGII_LOAD_OPTIONS, the value of the variable is, for example, c:\folder\myloadoptions.def If you now click on "Save as Default" in the load options, your settings will be saved as default settings and loaded automatically the next time you start NX.

Good work❤

Indeed, a good hint! Thank you!😃
THANKS for the well explained tutorial. Can you also show how to export an assembly into a STEP file please ?
Good idea, I will create the video in the next few weeks.
How do I set a specific load option as a default? Now, I have to change it from "from folder" to "as saved" each time.
Create an environment variable in Windows. The name of the variable is UGII_LOAD_OPTIONS, the value of the variable is, for example, c:\folder\myloadoptions.def

Dear God do you guys make this the most horrifically difficult and stroke-inducing way to do CAM. Seriously. Do you just hate us or something?
Hello, my channel is not from Siemens and I am a trainer for NX and would like to help other NX users.
Wait until you start using sketcher. ;]
But to be fair, 3D modelling and surfacing in NX is world class quality.
Good tutorial but the mouse click sound is super annoying
We did a lot of tests, but it was always easier to follow the videos when you saw and heard which button was selected.
No, it isn't.
