And the inner world of the main character is appropriately bleak. Consciousness flickers in a solemn parade of grainy black&white, as if searching for some deeper more colourful meaning... but all is temporary, and must fade to the inevitable eternal darkness.
Hey, sorry I don’t have time for a fresh render of this at the moment, but if you are working with an HD sequence you could always scale this a bit to reduce the vignette.
@@Luisgrue I'm not 100% familiar with how to access blending / opacity options for clips in resolve. But I assume you can put it on the time line overtop of your edit and then find the clip settings to change its blend mode. I would try either multiply or add modes and experiment to get the look you are after.
That Oval shadowed border, remind me what's that called again?? Is it possible to get that effect in Premiere, and if so how?? (or at least if I know what it's called, I can try to Google a solution...)
@@occupiedkashmir9031 Hey, you shouldn’t need an account to download it. Just follow the links and the payment gets processed through the store. Thanks.
I was going to give you a dollar just because I didn't have to, but then I didn't like that it was mandating I give my e-mail address when I paid, so I tried to name a price of nothing to see would it go through without making me give my e-mail address, and it turns out you can't actually do that. I don't know was that intentional or not, but if you want to charge for your work, fine; just, it shouldn't say you don't have to pay if you do actually have to pay.
I've never said you didn't have to pay. This 4k version is a $1+ link as mentioned in description. The email address is part of the Gumroad service and is of no use to me. I gave away the 1080p version for close to 10 years, while all costs were on me, thousands of downloads a year for free during that time.
Well...you do have these comments on here, so I was a little confused, but now I'm gathering you only meant the 1080p version was free? It's fine either way. Just, it's unclear if that's intentional. I added the ability for someone to "pay" if they want to. I had a bunch of feedback from subscribers that they were keen to support. Just put $0 in - simple as that._ _Pretty tricky to make money when giving it away... but if you wanna donate feel free ;)_ _It is a free download, read a little closer - under the "name your own price" model through Gumroad. I'm very upfront about this son. If you don't wanna pay anything, that's fine, I'm happy if people just want to use it and be creative etc. I actually enjoy giving this stuff away - and 99% of people do just download for free. The odd person flicks me a dollar or two on there, and that's great too. Helps to keep my website up and running - but by no means makes me a profit. Everything I've made on the channel for others to use in this playlist is set up this way - which again is very obvious in each description._
It was more a time-saver I was hoping to find, but it was taking long enough to look for what I needed that I wound up just using some PhotoShop filters.

This is actually absolutely an incorrect overlay - as the whole point of the "effect" is to resemble MOVING film strips... with dust and lines appearing randomly, not set in locked positions. Looks nice in style, but COMPLETE FAILURE as a legit vintage look.
Extremely mesmerising after a good bong
Fascinating plot.

Nice!
Very nice overlay effect! Worth paying for if you can. It did slow down my computer a little after downloading, however. :/
Mercy Grant thanks! :) If your computer is struggling with the 4k version, try our 1080p version on the channel :)

I would like to make a question: This is nice but the immagine that I'll add will be in front? Thank you for the answer.
You'll need to use a blend mode. Put this over the top and then blend it (overlay, multiply, add)
@@Snowmandigital Thank you so much.Great!
How does it works in Video Star????
Not sure sorry - does video star have the ability to layer up video clips? if so, then I assume there is some way to adjust the blending properties...
go on to video star, press multilayer , put your video on the 1st layer and this video on the second. search up "blend bg" on color and it should work
Really Love this overlay but is it possible to get without the vignette?
Hey, sorry I don’t have time for a fresh render of this at the moment, but if you are working with an HD sequence you could always scale this a bit to reduce the vignette.
I’ll try and upload a new one without it as soon as I can.

You can LUMA KEY it in a reverse from black

Overlay it in your video edit...
