Hey, sorry I don’t have time for a fresh render of this at the moment, but if you are working with an HD sequence you could always scale this a bit to reduce the vignette.
I’ll try and upload a new one without it as soon as I can.

Not sure sorry - does video star have the ability to layer up video clips? if so, then I assume there is some way to adjust the blending properties...
go on to video star, press multilayer , put your video on the 1st layer and this video on the second. search up "blend bg" on color and it should work

@@Luisgrue I'm not 100% familiar with how to access blending / opacity options for clips in resolve. But I assume you can put it on the time line overtop of your edit and then find the clip settings to change its blend mode. I would try either multiply or add modes and experiment to get the look you are after.

I was going to give you a dollar just because I didn't have to, but then I didn't like that it was mandating I give my e-mail address when I paid, so I tried to name a price of nothing to see would it go through without making me give my e-mail address, and it turns out you can't actually do that. I don't know was that intentional or not, but if you want to charge for your work, fine; just, it shouldn't say you don't have to pay if you do actually have to pay.
I've never said you didn't have to pay. This 4k version is a $1+ link as mentioned in description. The email address is part of the Gumroad service and is of no use to me. I gave away the 1080p version for close to 10 years, while all costs were on me, thousands of downloads a year for free during that time.
Well...you do have these comments on here, so I was a little confused, but now I'm gathering you only meant the 1080p version was free? It's fine either way. Just, it's unclear if that's intentional. It's not really important as I've already made my own. I just needed 14 frames for a 512x512 image.
_It's a free download, take a closer look.... I added the ability for someone to "pay" if they want to. I had a bunch of feedback from subscribers that they were keen to support. If you don't, that's fine I've always given this stuff away freely. Just put $0 in - simple as that._

It was more a time-saver I was hoping to find, but it was taking long enough to look for what I needed that I wound up just using some PhotoShop filters.

This is actually absolutely an incorrect overlay - as the whole point of the "effect" is to resemble MOVING film strips... with dust and lines appearing randomly, not set in locked positions. Looks nice in style, but COMPLETE FAILURE as a legit vintage look.
