I have the same exact set. It has been repaired by professionals twice - the drain pump first, 4mos later the control board, and now less than 3wks after it stopped working again. The code was always DR and diagnostic said f9 e1. Always a tub full of water that we have to scoop out with buckets. It always stops when we have it on Bulky Sheets mode. But it is just 1 sheet set with 4 pillow cases. At this point, I will look for another washer and I don't think Whirlpool will be on my list. We just did 2mos at the local laundromat until the control panel came in and I am over it. Beautiful set but disappointing the washer didn't even last 1.5 yrs w/o having issues.
I have the same set but in white they have run flawless since 2017 when we bought thm until this past thursday, kuckily im handy enough to save calling a repairman, ny control board died this pas thursday no new ones availble unless several months lead time decided to grab a used one on ebay.. beats buying new washer
thr video stopped with the 5 on the display i got to that part and got A2 and have no idea ehat tjat means. because no error message however still no water..the water ran while doing the diagnostic
I know this is an old video but I replaced the drain pump on mine. Ran the wash cycle to make sure it was good and today the wife went to do a load and the dang washer shakes violently now. I’m not sure what I did wrong? I did not touch the suspension rods or anything?
the background noise really ain't that much of a bother especially not to the point it would only have you comment on that alone... maybe you should just call a appliance technician and go do something productive 🤡
I have had this model since 2017. Its now giving me the LF code. No water coming in. I already powered it off for 10mins or more and it still doesnt work. Help??
Mine won’t start filling with water. It just locks lid and spins a little like it’s adjusting and getting ready but then displays the letters L F. This test allowed me to make it start filling but idk what to do next.
tested for hours and hours to absolutely be sure it's the board..a heads up for the average diy with no experience this takes patience.if you don't have any then you shouldn't mess with it.i usually jump around the tech manual when i finally find it especially the correct one..i wasted a couple of hours on what i thought was the right one.haste makes waste when i had to quickly search for it and thought it was it.finally getting the one and doing all the tests require reading it from beginning to end and skipping steps if necessary as directed.my issue was water not filling on start up of a whaterver out of diagnostic mode cycle i put it into.it didn't work unless i toggled it on and off.i got stuck and the automatic test execution stopped at #18 on wtw8500dc0 model.'spin for 20-30 seconds.when looking if it would give me that code it wasn't flashing a motor lock code but a pressure sensor f3e1 code.there was a point when i first plugged in the machine after it sat for over a year that things were clogged or gunked up. i had tipped it over onto to a wall to get a look at the motor cause it was on the list of codes i once had that it filled when i put it into wash machine cycle but not last night/morning.i played around with it by moving the machine or shaking ,tipping it to see what it would do and then it would throw some codes.i cleared them, and went on to other tests.everything works when i turn them on or off but in auto mode one or two didn't let's say so then i would do all of them over again.rset,unplug,etc.each time it did a little something else different and not consistently.i also tried blowing into the pressure hose to the board and sucking vac on it while in mode ,it would beep when it sensed vac or psi and just kept the pump running and running until no water was coming out as it struggled to push water out of the hose loop..hmmm..it may sound stupid but maybe drain hose install height might not be right. if there is a section in the data sheet or not about install requirements i need to find it fast before i go out to my wholesaler to get a new one.i do this and hvac, electrical and plumbing for over 18 years now for a living but only actually have been doing appliances for like maybe 10 years but simple one's in low income housing rentals.this machine is very advanced compared to $300 used one...good luck with yours.i'll try to update after i fix it but i'll have to check a few other things over again before i do.
My washer is making a grinding noise and not draining all the way it’s like trickling out slowly then not spinning and grinding it was working just fine now doing this I need help I don’t know what to do
Has anyone seen a video on how to get to the drain pump filter on the filter clean on Cabrio WTW8500DC5. The engineers (aren't they helpful) did not add an access port in the front so I am guessing that it's in the back. Before I turn it on its face I wanted to be sure

I had that problem it means that the lock might not work anymore and needs to be changed or that because is a magnet might be close to metal and it won’t close
You seriously saved me hundreds of dollars thank you for the video!!!!

@@mikel5077 how did you know it was the control board? Mine gets power starts but the timing keeps changing and then it stops but power is on.
thanks for this video. had error f0e4. when thru diagnostic steps testing each function. powered off and then back on. works fine now.

Same here… what was the result of the diagnostic? It just ends
what does 50 & 51 do ? and what are the numbers that pop out supposed to mean ?

Make sure the people in the background watch the video so they can hear how obnoxious they are
I`m not saying anything to my customer. Mute it and enjoy technical video if you can.

What if it’s giving the code E1 F 5 what is wrong w it
How do you clear the codes on the WTW7000DW4? The manual is not helpful. I'm getting error code F0 E5 and the problem is fixed.

Mine is doing the same thing now. I get the LF code and no water. I'm going to check the lines.

Same exact problem here!
Two years old. New owner: First day water didn't spon out all the way. Today no water to machine Shuts off after a few minutes.
Need more help. This was somewhat helpful but I am still having issues and am unsure how to solve.
What test should I run my washer won’t spin
Did you ever figure this out mine does the same thing
Looks nice. Washes terrible.
mine gets stuck at 18 and goes back to 17, and repeats that process
what did it end up being?
@@dustinnewman1794 I think a broken clutch. We ended up getting a new washer as this washer was 6 years old

It would help if all the people in the background weren't so loud
Not to mention you're talking so low I can't understand a words you're saying
Can some tell me where the heating Element is in this washer?
The thermistor on the bottom of the machine Tilt it back to get under

Same here do nothing too
Same here

same thing happened to me, I unplugged it waited for da light to go off and then plugged it back up, it worked
I can't get it to stay off long enough to run a code
1,2,5,6 don't let any water out.
50 doesn't either and it just says F for a while
Couldn’t get them folks in the background to hush?
Hush customers?

Awsome 😎👍
Background talking was very distracting, Hard to hear what little you said.
This is what happens when I do organic service calls. I record what I can to share what can be useful.

I don't have error codes... mine just screams during the spin cycle... lol
Thank you
We can’t use the bulky sheets…. It never drains….
I usually do bulky sheets on the delicate cycle so they can drain
On 50, the lights all are off and nothing happens
Yes ik
F5 E3 I need a whirlpool repair person every Says no they don't want to work on it 😢😢
These are the worst machines do not buy
Oh boy oh boy how I agree this pos messes ALL the time!

For real 6 grand change something every month
I have the exact same dryer and washer

On 50 I get error codes f2 e1
It's an effing washing machine. You don't need vague error codes. They are simple devices.
Run a diagnostic test
Whirlpool did piece of junk my work not even 2 years
Whirlpool should call to repair My Model No is WTW7500GC2 suddenly no drain water may be drain pump? When start it is hmmm sound does not work
