It's more like the musical movement Synthwave was already building before this with cyberpunk as a genre, especially in europe because of Daft Punk, but I definitely think Cyberpunk 2077 the game is going to become a central rallying point for this music genre because it's the culmination of all the awesome, sexy, cool parts of the Cyberpunk aesthetics in the genre.

No, this music already existed a long time ago before this game. Other cyberpunk games actually had similar music, RUINER in particular. Its not synthwave either.
