Yep, by a mile. Floor and Henk are great, but this whole performance is just epic. Nightwish > BZ House band. Tarja and Marko are just perfect, Jukka smashing those cans, Tuomas with Jack Sparrow and Emppu's squels and shredding that solo at the end. Just perfection.

Most of the songs people suggest in Floor's voice were not originally recorded by her, so it would be nice if in addition to the newer versions you also heard the originals. Each song sounds completely different depending on who is singing. Nightwish initially proposed to have a lyrical singer as a vocalist. That was the identity and the big difference of the band in the past, however, from the second vocalist that changed. The band also went through other member changes. Including, Marko himself is not the original bass player. He joined the band from the fourth album, Century Child. Tarja left the band in 2005, before google buys RUclips. Because it has THE POWER that NIGHTWISH delivers, it has THE VOICES that goes perfectly with the performance. It has THE LOOK.And Tarja COMMANDS that arena with her high notes.She gave it her all. However..Tarja is limited to singing ALL the songs in her operatic voice, that was always her approach.....Floor has so much More Versatility and Style and Technique that She Re-Invents the songs fresh. Gorgeous!

Marco...makes this Duet. Otherwise, Sarah Brightman, Sierra Boggus, are much better "Christine's." And Floor, too. Tarja...warbles too much with a throaty, shaky vibrato.
Tarja and Floor are good friends, they have performed the Nightwish song "Over The Hills" together during a Tarja solo show. Even though Tarja was kicked out of the band after this particular concert, she still performs several of the songs that we all love!

Kinslayer 9. she is my sin 10. wish I had an angel 11. slaying the dreamer 12. the siren 13. dead to the world 14. 10th man down 15. walking in the air 16. ghost love score and many more too ------ Tarja has her own stage performance/presence, but the focus is on the entire band (much more respectful), unlike with floor, where the focus is almost entirely on her, and also, Phantom of the Opera isn't about that much showmanship, so you're not seeing more of Tarja's performance/presence (love how the camera work and Tarja worked together, with her ducking down, seeing Marcus as he delivered his singing, and then Tarja stands back up, seeing her face back in the camera as Marco's part ends and hers begins again, Tarja is really such a team player, as she could have had all the focus upon herself, like Floor gets, but instead she chooses to give the entire band the respect and focus that they too deserve, it's not all about Tarja, like it is with Floor, despite how good Tarja is and thus how she could be the entire focus with nightwish, as is Floor with nightwish) there's other songs, where Tarja was way way way more stage performance/presence/showmanship, including hair windmills, rocking an invisible guitar along with empuu rocking his guitar, along with her doing her squatting too as she sings and taps her foot/leg to it, as she's swinging those hips too, along with her getting the crowd involved as well too, and etc stuff, you got to watch way more songs, to really see her amazing stage presence/performance and showmanship, as Phantom of the Opera is likely the one song with the least of that stuff, due to the nature of the song itself, being about their singing (contrasting and then cacophonous harmonous duet, nothing can compete with Tarja and Marco voices duet'ing), though Marco and Tarja had a bit of showmanship and fun snuck into it, with Marco pointing to his face and Tarja's facial expression reactions, while both song their parts

I am not sure whether Tarot has been buried yet. At least, still in June not even one of the members knew if there were chances to get Tarot back. Marko has not disappeared totally: a) yesterday was released a video by Waltari in which Marko is singing (totally on fire), and 4th Dec he will start a traditional Xmas tour Raskasta joulua (Heavy Xmas). @@osk9013 Tarot's state is difficult. Because too little was going on, Marko left the band. Then they became more active again. After the drummer's death, the band has been quiet for years and there is no successor. Marko might get a taste for it again. I would like to return as the second lead singer, without Bass playing. Then he and Tuomas, as a composer, could concentrate on it without compromise.

Tarja at her best in her last concert with Nightwish. They never again played Phantom live since 2005. By fortune Floor needed to sing it live in a Dutch TV show 2019 along with a renowned opera singer who played the Phantom for many years. Just google Floor's version, the TV show is called "Beste Zangers".

Tarja has her own stage performance/presence, but the focus is on the entire band (much more respectful), unlike with floor, where the focus is almost entirely on her, and also, Phantom of the Opera isn't about that much showmanship, so you're not seeing more of Tarja's performance/presence (love how the camera work and Tarja worked together, with her ducking down, seeing Marcus as he delivered his singing, and then Tarja stands back up, seeing her face back in the camera as Marco's part ends and hers begins again, Tarja is really such a team player, as she could have had all the focus upon herself, like Floor gets, but instead she chooses to give the entire band the respect and focus that they too deserve, it's not all about Tarja, like it is with Floor, despite how good Tarja is and thus how she could be the entire focus with nightwish, as is Floor with nightwish)
there's other songs, where Tarja was way way way more stage performance/presence/showmanship, including hair windmills, rocking an invisible guitar along with empuu rocking his guitar, along with her doing her squatting too as she sings and taps her foot/leg to it, as she's swinging those hips too, along with her getting the crowd involved as well too, and etc stuff, you got to watch way more songs, to really see her amazing stage presence/performance and showmanship, as Phantom of the Opera is likely the one song with the least of that stuff, due to the nature of the song itself, being about their singing (contrasting and then cacophonous harmonous duet, nothing can compete with Tarja and Marco voices duet'ing), though Marco and Tarja had a bit of showmanship and fun snuck into it, with Marco pointing to his face and Tarja's facial expression reactions, while both song their parts
This is from 2005 Helsinki concert. Tarja Turunen was the lead singer then... and this was her last show with the band. Floor joined 2012...

As long as you back it up, it doesn’t matter where you pause. However, since a lot of magic happens near the end of a Nightwish song it’s best to let the last 10-20 seconds play out uninterrupted. 😄🤘

Tarja has released solo, Anette solo and as a singer of The Dark Element, Marko has left the band and the music business.
I am not sure whether Tarot has been buried yet. At least, still in June not even one of the members knew if there were chances to get Tarot back. Marko has not disappeared totally: a) yesterday was released a video by Waltari in which Marko is singing (totally on fire), and 4th Dec he will start a traditional Xmas tour Raskasta joulua (Heavy Xmas). Fingers crossed!
@@osk9013 Tarot's state is difficult. Because too little was going on, Marko left the band. Then they became more active again. After the drummer's death, the band has been quiet for years and there is no successor.
Marko might get a taste for it again. I would like to return as the second lead singer, without Bass playing. Then he and Tuomas, as a composer, could concentrate on it without compromise.

Tarja at her best in her last concert with Nightwish. They never again played Phantom live since 2005. By fortune Floor needed to sing it live in a Dutch TV show 2019 along with a renowned opera singer who played the Phantom for many years.
Just google Floor's version, the TV show is called "Beste Zangers".

I still liked Marco a little more than Tarja. Tarja was Tarja. Jukka the drummer had a Migraine. The singers in Nightwish are Tarja Anette and Floor.
This duet is epic, but has been surpassed by the duet of Floor Jansen with Henk Poort. Link to the performance in the Beste Zangers Show has been provided already. And sorry, IMHO, the version of Floor and Henk is better. But decide for yourself.
