You should just get a rerooting tool and buy some different shades of blonde doll hair. When you run into missing hair on your next bunch of dolls you can use some new hair on them. I swear it's much easier then cannibalizing hair from the back of their head. It also is a lot of fun just to reroot the whole head with fresh new hair of your choosing. I also love cleaning up second hand dolls. Love your videos by the way .

this was a fun video I really liked the cow girl look you gave the shorter hair barbie i thought it was kinda cute how you positioned her hands behind her back a moment. i wished there was a way to keep it that way. I didn't recognize the Wet N wild barbie at all. i have that doll and she looks like a whole new girl after you fixed her hair. i will be trying to use the wet, gel and curl method for a rare Takara Mama Chan Aka Rika Chan aka Licca chan's Mom doll I found. she has this Bette Davis as Margo From " All about eve" going on but the back needs to be fixed so I'm going to try and maintain the style while I clean her but also try and fixed that one little curl in the back that's out of wack.

You did a great job. I watched while sitting in my doll room doing the same thing. I have my dolls from the 80s and even though they have been in a trunk stored they needed some spa time. My granddaughter and I have a RUclips channel but only 100 subscribers but I would like to record makeovers too, but it’s really hard. Your dolls look great!!❤

I have quite a few dolls that need a lot of restoration and their hair styles I love how you turned a chopped hair Barbie into such a cute hairstyle ❤ also that rerooting hack and hair transplant is an INGENIOUS IDEA!! My childhood Jewel Hair Barbie Teresa is a victim of having her bangs chopped off by my niece and I did not know how I was going to fix her I didn’t want to buy new fake hair because it’s so hard to find a match and also I didn’t want to reroot her whole head so this was a lifesaver!! Hi Luv,I love seeing how others transform their dolls, and you can get some inspiration from others so when you get that one trouble some doll that you’ve tried everything with you have more options. I love buying 70s -early 2000s dolls and restyling them. It’s so fabulous. I love the western Barbie in blue she is gorgeous.

@@dolls2remember I have around 1000 + dolls, they helped me get out of a deep depression. As a little kid I only had one Barbie she was day to night Barbie, we were really poor, I always begged my mom for Barbie dolls but it just didn’t happen for me and it made me so sad as a child,so as a adult I just started collecting them, the Barbie extra line got me back into collecting Barbie’s again after taking a break for years

I'm learning a lot from your restyles. I recently redid my thrifted rainbow high amaya rain 20inch doll's hair and used diluted fabric softener and a comb. Took forever. Most of my dolls are second hand thrifted so I end up restoring thier hair. Really want to try a reroot or wig from yarn wiffs.
I always wanted to be a cosmetologist and couldn't do it, but I settle for doing my dolls hair instead. 💇♀️

Awww thank you!!! This particular heating tool has adjustable temperature settings so I’m able to use a very low setting! It’s fabulous! The link is in the description :)
Pro Tip: Don't use fabric softener because it makes the hair fibers more poofy and frizzy. I also makes the fibers less strong and tight.
Another Pro Tip: You should use conditioner better because it makes the hair soft.
