Salam aleykum. Could you make a video on which books to go through (Madinah Books, Bayna Yaddayk?) and in which order. Jazakh’Allah kheir.
Congratulations Sheikh for Mastering Arabic and Enjoying the Glorious Qu'ran from the source.
I'm an Arabic speaker struggling to teach my family (Old and young ones) the Arabic language, however their progress is slow, and I'm praying to Allah almighty to gift them with this language so they can appreciate what I appreciate properly our Deen.
Allahuma barik. Brother that last bit was the most motivating stuff I heard. If you cut that part out and turn it into a youtube short we can send it around and make sure it reaches people. If I wasn't already learning arabic I would start just based on what you said at the end.
Yes I agree, the end was so motivational.
Alhamdulillah for sheikh Muhammad James, ive learned alot from him. May Allah bless him and his family
For me, the most useful study material was Medina book series. If you want to learn professional, Arabic go study Medina book series from book one all the way to book 3.
Yes if u complement it with Arabiyya bayna yadayk, because Madina books is all grammar and morphology and very lil application and practice! So if u do both alongside, Alhamdulillah

Understanding Context: The key method emphasized for learning Arabic is to understand new vocabulary within context rather than relying on translations. This involves creating sentences that help convey the meaning of words, which enhances retention and comprehension.
Teacher Guidance: Learning with the help of a teacher is crucial to ensure correct pronunciation, grammar, and usage. Incorrect learning can lead to fossilization, where incorrect information becomes hard to unlearn.
Practice and Repetition: Consistent practice and repetition of sentences containing new vocabulary are essential. This helps reinforce the meaning and usage of words, making them easier to recall.
Gradual Transition: Start with English-Arabic dictionaries like Hans Wehr and then gradually move to Arabic-Arabic dictionaries for deeper understanding and more advanced learning. This transition helps learners think and understand directly in Arabic.
Cultural and Religious Context: Understanding Arabic in its cultural and religious context, especially through the Quran, Hadith, and classical Arabic poetry, is emphasized as a way to deeply connect with the language and its rich heritage. This connection enhances the overall learning experience and appreciation of the language.
جزاك اللهُ خيرًا , This was just what I needed to help me with my arabic studies in egypt
MashAllah tabarakAllah. Beautifully explained. May Allah swt grant us the love of Deen and Arabic like this.
Dictionaries:
1. Hanswear (arabic to english with arabic organization)
2. Al mu3jam al wajeez OR Al mu3jam al waseet (arabic-arabic)
3. Mukhtar us sahah (arabic-arabic more advanced without defining the basic words)
4. Kamoos al mu7it (arabic-arabic and can be confusing)

🔺تنبيه : لا نقول "الطُّلَاب" بفتح اللام مخففة
بل نقول "الطُّلَّاب" بتشديد اللام

Out of curiosity, do you happen to struggle with understanding secular material in Arabic (news, non religious books etc)? I'm asking because one thing I keep noticing is that you have brothers who understand everything they read in islamic books and when listening to a scholar, but when they listen to the news, they only understand around 50%.
Maybe because they learned Arabic to understand the quraan and the sunnah and not the news 😅
I think it has to do with the trends and latest happenings, and they could derive the words to from other cultures outside Arab culture.
Hence the dua for helping one from knowledge that isn't beneficial.
And world is moving fast, fast to where? To oblivion.
That doesn't make sense because the news uses modern standard Arabic which is basically Fusha, and everything is very formal most of the time so I don't understand how someone would only understand 50 percent
Arabic news is in very high language hence people struggle even if they learnt Arabic however I advice use Al Jazeera free Arabic news articles so you are acquainted with media vocabulary
Like me 🤲🏿
This is true.
Theres a method from my school.
First by memorizing Matn Ajurum(متن الاجورومية) and wazn (متن البناء).
Then start to study the explaination of these two books.
After we have a very solid grammar, the we started to learn Fiqh books and Tafsir Quran.
It is a very slow process, I took almost 5 years to be able to read any arabic books.
And I still cant speak arabic.
What books would you recommend besides madinah series and bayna ya dayk?
@@rashidinabdulkadil9903
I used older books.
متن الاجرومية و شروحه، متممة و حا شية الكواكب، الفيه ابن مالك و شروحه for grammar.
متن البناء for verbs.
I dont know much about modern books.
For vocabulary, i used قاموس المحيط too, but mostly i got it from my teacher. Hes translating syarah hadith, syarah and hashiah of fiqh books, and from tafsir Quran.

I really enjoy the great collection of educational videos from you and Saajid. I can’t watch videos from the “RUclipsrs”, I enjoy videos that I can watch or listen to when I am working that I can benefit from.
Jesus is the way ✝️🙏 come back
Yes jesus is the way, to God, for the isRaelis, in Judea..
But we follow muhammad (saw), who is also the way, to God, for everyone, all over the world.. 💐👌
