Given the involvement of the guardian nodes in the Theta network I think it is more decentralised than your suggesting. The enterprise validators can’t act alone.

Patents are important factor..He mentioned by 2025 there would be competition that will have THETA peaking...UMMM NOO! The PATENTS make THETA a 1 of a kind and no other company project can duplicate THETA. He sure missed that part. Theta should be much higher than $24 by 2025. BITCOIN may reach $300 to $700 k by then. Way too conservative.
@@fugetabouit6591 I'd have to agree with that assumption. Also the recent micro payments interface provided by SAP's head -honcho developer holds significant future potential to expand THETA's future utility. Definitely not a one-trick pony when you did a little deeper.
@@ianmacpherson8385 you're right there, Theta’s tech allows it to grow beyond its original vision. I haven't seen anyone else with off chain micropayments. This is going to help book keeping for large enterprises so much easier. The will love this. They dont have to follow every transaction. And global adoption comes from the big folk adopting, incorporating it into thier business not us small time retailers.
@@mrmcclintock534 100% spot-on. The adoption of Block-Chain technology by the heavyweight players, like SAP, in the traditional and legacy enterprise space is the marriage made in heaven. The future for platforms like THETA are just idling on launchpad and who knows where the space will go. Exciting stuff!!

Dear @InvestAnswers I respect your work but your research on this project is not accurate. You are pointing this project solely to the Video Streaming Market, not mentioning their NFT efforts and forgetting to mention that they made it possible to transition Ethereum projects onto their Network meaning Smart Contracts / DAPP compatibility which extends the considered Market by a tiny fraction. Especially the last point is an important missing piece of information. I apologise in advance if there is a misunderstanding on my end.
He is talking about competitors as well. Theta has 5 patents and that makes it very difficult to develop a similar project.
Hi James do you invest in nft art? I just bought a Messi nft as part of his messiverse art collection took me a little while to work out how to invest in it moving crypto around etc but got there in the end. People are already flipping them for 5-10x already but thinking i’ll hold for now.
There are some valid points in this analysis. However i think Theta is not easy to copy due to their patents and they are already quite ahead of the curve with their network and the number of edge nodes they have. Even if the big tech companies would want to build their own solution, it would cost them a lot of money and time to do that and why should they, if Theta already offers the solution?
Do I convert my Eth to Sol...or should I wait for it to drop.

It is nice to watch someone who knows what they are talking about. Often few and far between in crypto.
Buying Theta is a no brainer. One of the few projects will survive the bear market. They play by the rules, not like other projects, so shady sht to pump the price.

Hi James I am Neil from the UK and watch your excellent streams everyday on you tube. Just thought you might be interested at looking at this in the future , its about UK firm ARQIT who are a cyber security firm who will soon be listed on the NASDAQ after a merger with a Centricus Acquisition corp . A very interesting company who can prevent attacks even from Quantom computers which could be a big thing in a few years as Quantom computers could be used to disrupt and attack blockchains. How do you avoid short term capital gains, or do you accept it
The only way to avoid it is to not sell in the short term time frame or move to a jurisdiction that doesn’t have capital gains taxes. Otherwise just pay your taxes and move along.

Also you did not mention their patents, it is very unusual for a crypto project. Can’t it protect them from big company copycats ?

Not bad but I have conducted a bit more DD and theta is much more than a video streaming solution. Micro payments is another market not mentioned, this is a multi trillion dollar market. You have major software firms like SAP looking into it. Micro payments can be used for anything and provides a fair experience overall for the creator and consumer. You did not mention the patents, I guess they don’t matter? Also a much cheaper solution to eth with interoperability.

Theta has 5 patents, and is a technology company, who happens to have a crypto. They have a solve for the internet's bandwidth issues, which is more important than the video streaming. It will be the #1 crypto in 3-4 years.

Would the centralised nature of Theta be appealing to Google etc. for a takeover? Rather than them starting from scratch.
Google already owns a ton of Theta and that’s a bad thing because Theta is a governance and staking token. Google could use their tokens to literally just put forward a proposition that benefits them and all the retail holders whining in this comments section would get screwed.
I like your analysis; however it’s incredibly conservative. It already reached 16$ this year. You’re claiming it won’t reach all time highs for another 3 years? If the total crypto market triples and theta is added to Coinbase this thing will be at 50$ easy by 2023.
why dont people go after other analysts, I am far more bullish than them.

Theta has quite a few patents on its decentralized video distribution technology. I don't think it's going to be that easy for the big centralized or decentralized names to compete.
So you might buy if goes under $6??? It end of 2022 and it's $1.10 :)
Hello there! I do like your content and mean no disrespect, but this seems flawed, and to the downside. Considering the Katy Perry and One chanpionship exclusive NFT drops in Q4 (that is millions of eyeballs), fully functional Edge Node network ready for onboarding corporate users (with Google, Samsung and Sony already investors and validators), full Etherium compatibility with Metamask integration for Tfuel ready for dapp developers, SAP testing the Theta blockchain for potential micropayment usecases, it is extremely unlikely, that the network effect + accelerating dollar debasement would only take Theta to 25 USD by 2025. The price chart should not be linear at all, that is not how networks grow, and the dollar debasement is gaining momentum as well from the looks of it. If you elaborated on how you factored these, I, and probably many others would find it useful! Many thanks :)
