I was always on team Tifa, ever since the original. They had by far the best romance, that even included them making love under the highwing... It was so satisfying seeing them ending up together in canon when Advent Children came out. Even though the movie does not feature any romantic content between them since it is focused on Cloud being sick, dying and depressed about the fact that he lost his friends Aerith and Zack along the way, you can still see that he really loves Tifa and is loved back by her no matter what he goes through. She is the one who talks depression out of him in that movie. Not only that but just look at how they arranged their life together. They are living and working together in the new 7th heaven and raising a couple of kids that call them "mom and dad", and Tifa even referrs to them as family. Tifa even has the ring on her finger that gives a hint at the fact that they're married. So freakin cool. All the more reasons to enjoy their romance in the remake. As usual, it is clearly the best and most emotional you can have. Gotta love TifaXCloud!

There is something special about how the Japanese VA delivers both Tifa and Cloud's emotions especially on this scene. It's very raw and palpable you can almost feel the intensity of it. Ayumi Ito and Takahiro Sakurai really did a great job as Tifa and Cloud's voices.

From what I hear, the japanese VAs absolutely love the relationship between Tifa and Cloud, and given that Japan didn't have their VAs recast for this game, they've been at it for a long time and you can tell.
Japanese version is really made my day. People might think they're are just some childhood friend by console tifa. But to me it more then that. He always cared for her. Even he don't show it that well. The deep connection between them.
And yeah Tifa really was waiting for him after their promise at the well, I hope in the next part we can see the scene where Tifa found Cloud at the station and took care of him until the bombing mission, seeing how Tifa really didn't want Cloud to leave Midgar and far away from him After that
Once Cloud embraces Tifa, it's so evident of everything he wanted to say that he didn't know how to say to her and more. What an amazing scene. Ugh...( ಥ﹏ಥ ) The long hug and the way he's holding her is quite intimate in nature and embracing her tightly secretly means that he doesn't want to let her go... 👫💕
I know a lovestory is not really one of the focuses of the story/game, but I really hope Cloud and Tifa have that spark between them. I hope they'd end up with each other just like how Naruto and Hinata ended up together
I think SE think about it, like how their interaction in this Remake, as you can see Cloud really cares about Tifa in almost every chapter that Tifa has in his party, see how Cloud is expressing seeing Tifa's sadness from the Fall of Sector 7

I like how they have fleshed out more of the story, I am excited to see what they have added to the story in the next parts/installments of the FF7 Remake

When I ran my first playthrough I swore I wasn't parting with the buster sword. Partly because I'm a sucker for nostalgia, but mostly because every single time I see the sword I'm immediately reminded of the man that took the time to make it, Angeal. Of course Zack is also front and center in my mind as well when I see it. Odd, when I see it my thoughts never truly go directly to Cloud but the two fallen allies that previously owned it. =/
For the second playthrough I always use the Buster Swords to respect both of them, and the stats for the Buster Sword are quite balanced between Physical Damage and Magic

Well it hurts so much, No way no one join cried when saw Tifa crying like that. I just saw the Nyxipuff video and the part when Tifa cried the effect on Nyxi was incredible
A large group of people look at this and say oh look at these ONLY friends hug it out but it’s not that anymore. Sure when they reconnected at the start of Part 1 it was that way but it grown beyond that later on and I think at this point for Cloud especially that his feelings for Tifa started to change from friendly to romantic and the deep hug that ends up hurting Tifa is confirmation of that. I also think Cloud hesitates at first embracing her because he still thinks he’s not worthy of her from past events but sees her not moving away and waiting for him to take her....finally he starts to feel worthy and deeper for her and embraces her in the hug and doesn’t want to let go....ever. If this were a just a hug among 2 good Friends who lost everything but have each other then fine. But the context here shows a long and deep hug where neither especially Cloud wants to let go until it hurts Tifa speaks volumes about his true feelings for her.

I saw a few spoilers before playing it, but still when I played it myself, my tears kept coming out when Tifa started talking about their Bar, House and village, the two previous Chapters really made our emotions come to be hit repeatedly, I began to feel Tifa's sadness when the shadow of Marlene appeared in front of Tifa at the Train Graveyard
Pretty sure that every Tifa and Cloud fans was waiting for a scene like this, and I'm sure more will come, these surprises the developers keep throwing at us will only build up to a date scene at the golden saucer in the upcoming add ons to the game. Also side note: Japanese Voice acting > English Voice acting by a mile.
I definitely prefer the english VA's easily, but it's annoying how the lines are so different and have different meanings through them. For example, in English version Tifa has been made to look more jealous of Cloud and in japanese that's not the whole case.

The delivery of this scene is far more natural and believable compared to the English cast. Tifa's cries felt and sounded more real and in english it felt rather forced and you can tell it was 'acting'.

As good as the game is, the one issue I have with it is textures. Like the flowers in this scene. It’s like they cared too much about the other things that they forgot about some textures. I see what they are going for though. Hopefully this gets patched in the future
For some textures in this game it looks low, but it is helped by the soundtrack in the game that makes us not focus too much on the texture details, well maybe SE immediately moved to work on part 2 or possibly making DLC in part 1, because until now they haven't released patch to date

Can we change the subtitles to Japanese too in the game? So far I can only change the voice, I feel with Japanese subtitles I can grasp better
Helen Gunawan you can. You need to set language of your ps4 to Japanese. By doing so, not just subtitles but in game menu will be changed to Japanese.
